We are sorry you were not able to access the records you needed to.
Having checked your account we can see you opted for our Discover package, this allows access to civil birth, marriage, and death records, plus access to all UK censuses including the 1921 Census, and 1939 Register.
To access records outwith these you would need to upgrade to the required subscription, for access to all records you would need to have our Everything package.

My Autistic daughter uses genealogy as a hobby, and is her only interest. She tends to get focused on finding one particular person and uses blanket searches. Now we have had a message saying that we have used all of our searches for the month and cannot use it again until next month. This has left her very upset and frustrated. She cannot understand why, when we pay £169.99 a year and our subscription states 'everything' that this has happened. Haven't had it happen with ancestry. Apparently this is to do with fair usage. £169.99 isn't fair if you are limiting things. My daughter prefers the searches on ancestry but think we will look elsewhere.

We are sorry you have had difficulty in continuing your searches on our site owing to our fair usage limits, we can see you have already been in touch with our support team with regards to this.
We do have fair usage limits in place to ensure that our site is being used for legitimate purposes, these are set at 5000 records per month with a maximum of 500 records in a day.
In this case as the monthly limit has been reached, the usage limits will reset on the 1st of next month.

Too early to provide a full review as I have only just started using Find My Past and I'm currently within the 7 day trial period.
I am still trying to find my way around and learn how to use the website properly to create my family tree. However, I have found a couple of possible newspaper articles which may relate to my grandparents which I still need to confirm.

Disappointing
I found it difficult to navigate and missing key functionality. For example, you can't merge duplicate people, you can only delete one. I can't see the details for a person while I'm searching new records. In fact, the search uses very little of the info I've already collected about the person when searching. I won't be renewing.
Update: I see no way to respond to Find My Past's request for examples or to provide screen shots. I would if I could, but this site doesn't seem to allow it.

Find My Past is my go-to site for UK records. It’s so exciting to find records and newspaper clippings of our ancestors! The site is very easy to navigate and the user is provided with helpful hints. The cost is very reasonable, and if I need to, I can take a break, pause my monthly subscription, and come back later. Highly recommend!

Have subscribed to Find My Past since…version 3? I was bought it as a gift way back when. I think. Many year ago
Have subscribed to Find My Past since version 3 and have loved using it. I am now almost 88 years old and spend time everyday using Find My Past. Would probably like to look at the most up to date version but am afraid that my brain is too old to understand the updates. It certainly keeps me young (sort of ) and keeps me mind sharp (I think so anyway). Very much part of my life.

The search facility is exceedingly good…
The search facility is exceedingly good with the ability to make the search parameters as narrow or as broad as one likes; the increasing volume of the more ancient British parish records and the like is very helpful. The ability to search directly from FamilyTreeMaker would bring joy unconfined.

It's not all about America!
I find this site to be free of American records constantly popping up in my searches for records in Britain... This is a good thing...!
I like the fact that I can search newspapers as part of my subscription and at times I have discovered records on this site that aren't on other gene sites.
The only thing I would like to see is a complimentary subscription for those of us that have been members for years.
As a NZ member our exchange rate is 3 to 1 (3NZ Dollars to 1Pound) this sometimes can be very onerous. I seem to remember just recently a special for FMP membership but it was for non members to join. It would be lovely to have a 'special' that recognises loyalty on our anniversary.

It was easy to follow the hints, adding and deleting people. When in the person details screen, which was excellent, I struggled to get back to the tree at times.
