If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would! I bought a car off these mid October 2023 and in March 2024 the car developed a knocking noise, which has been to two garages and diagnosed as bottom end and needs a new engine fitted, which at this point doesn't make it a viable option with what it will cost and what the car is worth.

Personally I wish I'd seen the reviews on this business beforehand and saved myself a load of money and hassle as now I've got to sort another car out for my partner less than 6 months after buying the car!

Learn from my mistake and avoid this company at all costs!

Nightmare!

Car arrived filthy inside, food debris and doughnut receipt down the side of the drivers seat, airbag light came on the second day followed by white and blue tinged smoke (indicating possible head gasket issues) and damaged internal door handle not disclosed. When I called there was no professionalism when answering the phone, I had to ask if I’d even rang the right number. The car was delivered as I couldn’t collect. When I explained the issues with the car I was told they would fix it for me if I took it in, over an hours drive away, I explained that with a toddler this would be difficult as I have no way of returning which would mean I’d have to wait around with an impatient toddler, to which I heard a staff member in the background suggest I arrange nursery. I shouldn’t have been sold the car that needed fixing in the first place! I took the car to a local garage to have a diagnostic run on it and was informed the car needed to be returned to where I had it from and they advised I end my contract, they revealed loose taped up wiring to me underneath the seats. I spoke to FHS who agreed to collect the vehicle, they stated Saturday but as the day went on with no sign of them I called and they said they would come Sunday instead. When they arrived they refused to take the paperwork in order for me to terminate the sale stating they would fix the car and return it. They shouldn’t have sold a car that needed fixing?? They’ve since taken the car back and I have had to get a 3rd party involved in order for them to return the funds, I had to post them the paperwork as they refused to take it. Despite all this and finance repayment still owed on this car, I have since discovered they have re-listed it stating it’s in excellent condition and runs smoothly?!? LIES This car has a finance marker on it and cannot be sold legally till the funds are returned. I am out of pocket with fuel put in this car, deposits and cancellation fees. I WILL NEVER BUY REMOTELY AGAIN AND ADVISE STRONGLY TO SECOND GUESS BUYING FROM FHS

Avoid if you value your life!!!!

I went to FHS car sales to purchase a reliable car as I work on the community.I was assured the car I purchased was just that.
Three weeks after I purchased the car,the oil light came on and the car went into limp mode.I had to arrange recovery to get my car to to the garage. As the car was still under warranty FSH agreed to repair it.They kept the car for two weeks, leaving me without a vehicle and repaired the turbo, not a small fix.
The day after collecting it,the oil light came on again and I contacted FSH to return the car for a full refund, but I had to wait until they had the money to refund me.FSH agreed I could return the car,but they wanted to discount £600 from the refund for the repair. I asked why I had to pay for the cost of a repair under warranty and was told if I did not they would be out of pocket.
I was then told by them I would have to pay the cost of a recovery vehicle to return the car to them.Again I questioned why,and was told they had already spent money on the car.
The car was dangerous to drive,my husband tried to start it again and the accelerator seized and the car poured with smoke.
The car I was sold was a death trap.
I am still waiting to be reimbursed by them.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND SELL YOU A DEATHTRAP.CONMEN!!!
