We've rented in Homburg

We've rented in Homburg, Germany (Anna Roth) an appartment for the weekend of the 1st May, via HomeAway (Fewodirekt). Although the owner got an rental ban from the German goverment, due to the Covid 19 virus, she did not contact us to cancel the booking. On the contrary.. when we contacted the owner to postpone the date of the holiday, she refused and kept the entire amount of our rental. When I contacted HomeAway they said they could do nothing legally and they advised all owners to postpone alle bookings to a later date. The owner lied to us and said that she could have rented her property to an
Medical team and because we did not cancel timely, she lost money a second time. She accused us of waiting to long to cancel, although I've contacted her several times, no answer from her side.
We are all victim of the Covid 19 virus! This owner is a cheatfull lyer and cannot be trusted!
