Career Opportunities

After joining just over a year ago I’ve loved my time working at Fennies within the support office. Within the first year I’ve had ample opportunities to grow and develop, even earning myself a promotion within the first 8 months helping me progress in my career. Would highly recommend to others!

We’re so glad we chose Fennies!

We’re so glad we chose Fennies!
We have a three-year-old at Fennies and we honestly couldn’t be happier. Our child absolutely loves going each day and has settled in so well. The team are so caring and genuinely take the time to understand her and her interests, teh commuication we recieve through our parent app is fab!

We’ve seen such a positive difference in our child’s confidence and independence since starting. It’s so reassuring as a parent to know your child is happy and safe.

We’re so glad we chose Fennies!

Serious safeguarding concerns – three injuries in three months

We recently withdrew our daughter from Fennies Kidbrooke due to serious safeguarding concerns.

In just three months of attending two days per week, she suffered three separate injuries:

A scrape under her eye that staff failed to notice or record until we raised it.

A thumb injury with bleeding after a fall that was not even witnessed by staff.

A severe bite mark from another child that left bruising and broken skin, with no clear explanation of how it happened or what steps would be taken to prevent recurrence.

While the nursery acknowledged these incidents, management dismissed them as “occasional accidents.” For us, the frequency and seriousness — especially two incidents within two consecutive weeks — is not “occasional” at all. We saw no evidence of staff retraining, closer supervision, or any follow-up measures.

Despite our immediate withdrawal for safeguarding reasons, Fennies still insisted on charging us for an 8-week notice period, which we believe is unacceptable given the circumstances.

We have filed a formal complaint with Ofsted and Local Authority Children’s Social Care / Safeguarding Team.

Sadly, what should have been a safe and nurturing environment has left us with deep disappointment and concern. We cannot recommend this nursery, and urge other parents to be cautious.

It is a horrid place to work

It is a horrid place to work. Never work for Fennies in Raynes Park. They don't pay you for your hours, the management is a control freak. You can't even help someone without being told to go back in your room. I am off for stress and hope I find something else quick
