Fenland council compliance team I award…

Fenland council compliance team I award my jobsworth cap to. Following the death of my husband asking me if I’m still the only 1 in the property. It’s been less than 3 months and the wounds are still sore very highly insensitive of you. You would have originally received RTI data notification of his death. . I even phoned in and told you myself. I know you only want to screw for more money but I suggest as an ex government employee that you look at the fraudulent and the illegal people first and just don’t dig up my wounds with Salt just yet because you want to get a quick hit and money saving stat for your stats chart and savings.
. For your information
1) I’m the only person in the house I don’t have any lodgers and have no interest in doing so either .
2) I’m not running a brothel or open house/ disorderly house
3). I’m not in a relationship of any description. The man I was married to to for 32 years is my only and before you ask I’m not screwing anyone either.
4) you will not hit your stats target here and for your cheek I was going to pay my bill off the end of the month now I’m going to cancel my direct debit and pay the tax for the month when I get my pension on the 1st of the month .
5) I’m not going to be the slightest bit surprised if you want to charge me for my late husband being in residence because I still have his ashes in the property and have not scattered them in his final resting place yet.
Anything for coffers for the pot. Rot in hell fenland.

Incredibly

Incredibly, the customer service is quite lacking in politeness; when you attempt to communicate, they demand silence and frequently cut you off mid-sentence. If you try to interject, they abruptly end the call. The entire team could benefit from training in interpersonal skills, as they seem to lack them entirely. Despite having paid over 800 in the last five months to clear my balance, I'm now informed there's an outstanding amount of almost 700 due to their system update. Astonishingly, they expect more money for minimal effort. I plan to file a complaint.

If I could rate with zero stars I…

If I could rate with zero stars I would. Inept councillors that let a large amount of housing development in Wimblington and beyond without taking into consideration traffic, noise pollution or any infrastructure such as shops, doctors etc.

Pothole and tarmac madness!!

Does anyone in authority care if rate payer money is just flushed down the drains??
North of March, there have been road resurfacing operations going on for days now. Great, I say; about time it was done anyway. But here’s the rub? Berry Field, and Burnet Gardens road has suffered with potholes for more than eighteen months. During this time they have got considerably worse, and nothing was done to repair them. The Highways people came and painted the holes with white paint. Over time, this paint wore away, and the holes remained unfilled. They got deeper and spread wider over the winter months until about eight weeks ago the Highways people came again to mark the holes with yellow paint, this time. The damaged road was eventually fixed in part, only big holes were filled smaller ones remained. After about three weeks they returned and filled in a few more now larger minor holes. During this time, Elm road and off-road junctions were repainted with white centre lines and give-way at junctions lines. Lovely jubbly we all might rejoice, but no? All the money spent out to fix holes and paint lines was a waste of rate payer resources, because the major works to resurface all the road bug up the all the road to do a proper job. Well done Fenland District Council? You have failed the public once again? Give the rate payers a refund, councillors may shout! Like that’s going to happen anytime soon?

FDC is looking to sell green spaces in…

FDC is looking to sell green spaces in Wimblington and surrounding areas for housing developments. In Wimblington is it understood they are selling the small green space down Morley Rd. Does the council not understand residents NEED green spaces and is NOT thinking of the residents already living in the area. If I could give zero stars I would.

Truly disgraceful

Truly disgraceful. Councils are not allowed by law to make profit from residents. This is the Fenland Council scam. ..you need a new bin for garden waste. You are told you have to 'buy' the bin for £30. You then have to buy a sticker to place on your bin to show you have paid for the service. Then you get a letter thru post and it contains instructions and your bin sticker. The letter clearly states that the bin is not yours, even though you bought it. What they should say is it is £30 to deliver it. The worst part is next...you HAVE TO PAY FOR A WHOLE YEAR, even though you are only getting 6 months of collections. The rest of your payment is SIMPLY TAKEN and so, they are making a profit out of you.....What a good SCAM....wish I'd thought of it

Replies to e-mails

Fenland District Council (FDC) Wrote to me saying they would do something, I found out since they did not. I complained, the answer was not adequate, so I asked to go to a stage two complaint. FDC are supposed to respond in '10 working days'. So far 15+ days and no reply.

Bet they would reply if I stopped paying my Council Tax!
