I ordered a cocktail tree, it arrived packaged very nicely and quickly,. We planted my tree but it did not thrive, so they were great to access the tree and give me a credit in full because the planting season is not good now and then I can order a new tree when it will be.

Improperly packaged. Delayed order. Delayed delivery. Diseased and destroyed hydrangeas when they finally arrived. Don’t order from them. Also the tree I got is basically a thin branch.

I recieved an order with two rose bushes in it last week. One bush was completely destroyed via shipping. I chatted with a representative for 45 minutes who gained approval from her supervisors to replace the bush. She ensured me that she would be exchanging the bush and that I would recieve a new one when the exchange was processed. I never recieved an exchange or shipping confirmation email. When I spoke with a representative (I believe the same one) today, she claimed that a confirmation email had been sent to me twice which is untrue. Her tone through the entire conversation was rude and unhelpful. Until today's experience, I had planned to make additional purchases from this company. However, I will now go elsewhere to purchase plants and trees.

This company is by far the best company I have purchased from and has always honored their word. I have purchase from other companies local to me adn their trees did not last and they do not offer any support. So fast-growing-trees its will always be for me. The trees has come healthy and for the most part in good shape. The couple that didn’t they replace them without any problems. I have purchased over 30 fruit trees from you in this past two years and my trees are thriving. The company is very knowledgeable of their products and the customer service team is amazing. They answer all my questions with ease and offer great advice on how to treat my tree I was having problems with. They even went as far as emailing all the steps on how to take care of my trees. They have a forever customer and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to purchase trees or plants. Keep doing an amazing job…

I bought several items from them. Smaller than expected and expensive. I called a couple times re health of a tree. By the time it died it was outside of warranty and they would not send replacement. Will not use again

Very disappointing experience.
I confidently ordered 6 Italian Cypress trees from this company because their website repeatedly promotes messages like "Don't worry, there's a 60 day warranty," which led me to believe I would be protected if the trees failed.
Unfortunately, several of the trees died despite following all care instructions provided by customer support. When I contacted them for replacements, I was told I wasn't covered because I hadn't purchased an additional warranty at checkout. This was never made clear to me during the buying process.
Had I known that the advertised warranty did not automatically apply, I would have purchased locally instead. Now I'm left with dead trees, a garden that looks incomplete, and a discount code instead of a resolution. I feel misled and extremely disappointed with how this was handled.

I purchased a Meyer Lemon Tree from Fast Growing Trees because their website advertised a 1-year warranty. When my tree failed, customer service suddenly told me the warranty was only 60 days. Instead of replacing the tree, they offered me a "$108 credit."
What they don't tell you is that this isn't actually a store credit. It's a promotional code.
The way they apply it is incredibly misleading:
The promo code reduces the product price before payment instead of acting like a gift card or account credit.
They apply the promo code before any sitewide discounts.
On a $114 replacement plant, they subtract the $108 first, leaving only $6.
Then they apply the 20% sale discount to that remaining $6 instead of to the full purchase price.
It gets worse. Because the promo code lowers the product value below their $99 free-shipping threshold, they then charge shipping fees and sales tax on the shipping.
It also became clear that this isn't a true store credit at all. If I use the $108 credit on a product that costs only $15, Fast Growing Trees doesn't simply apply the remaining balance to my account. Instead, because it's treated as a promotional code, I still have to pay shipping charges and sales tax on those shipping charges. A real store credit would function like payment and cover the purchase until the balance is exhausted. This "credit" functions as a discount code, which significantly reduces its actual value.
As a result, even though I was supposedly given a $108 "credit," I still ended up paying more than $28 out of pocket for a replacement.
What's really frustrating is that if I ignored both the warranty credit and the 20% promotional discount and simply bought the same $114 plant outright, my total would have been about $125. Yet somehow, after applying a $108 warranty credit and a 20% discount code, my final cost ends up around $136.
A warranty replacement should reduce what a customer pays, not increase it. The way Fast Growing Trees structures these "credits" makes them worth far less than their advertised value.
I followed their care instructions and did everything I reasonably could to keep the tree alive, yet it still died. The real disappointment came afterward. The advertised warranty did not work as expected, customer service gave conflicting information about coverage, and the so-called replacement "credit" was structured in a way that left me paying more than I would have paid without it.
A warranty should provide confidence that a company stands behind its products. My experience was the exact opposite. I feel misled by both the warranty advertising and the way the replacement credit was applied, and I will not be purchasing from Fast Growing Trees again.

Ordered coconut palm and banana tree. Arrived with broken and torn branch and/or leaf. Product looked unhealthy and nearly dead. Contacted seller and they indicated they could not refund money. But,I could get replacement? Why would I accept more crappy plants from them??? They did send me instructions on how to recover near dead or roughed up plants! Why should I become a plant doctor when I know little about plants??? Needless to say I will not order from Fast Growing Trees or recommend them to anyone!!!3

Terrible service. Paid $51.27 for a rasperry plant. It arrived 100% dead. Dried, brown, looks like a mummified plant. Despite their free ‘arrive alive’ guarantee, they offered me $29 in credit. Absolute BS. Do not buy from them if you actually expect a living plant to arrive. Avoid at all costs!

My plant arrived is beautiful condition and the directions said the separate the two plants from the root ball before planting. After I did this, the plants died. They responded quickly with specific advice and sent a replacement plant.

My plants were damaged in shipping and Fast Growing Trees refunded my money. The only reason money was refunded was because the product was out of stock. They offered a credit but because these were special for my wife I declined but will definitely buy from the company again.

Plant arrived wilted and they would not refund or replace it.

Had previously purchased a Meyer Lemon tree from Fast Growing Trees, which lasted a year. At their recommendation, I placed it outside in the summer for strong sunlight. Unfortunately, the tree became infested with bugs and eventually died. I then purchased two Meyer Lemon bushes, figuring maybe I would have better luck. The bushes immediately started dropping leaves. I contacted their support, sent pictures, and all they did was respond with canned answers. No one-year guarantee, not even a one month guarantee, just a scam. Buy locally or from somewhere else.

They are in the business of defrauding customers. My plants arrived yellowing and lost all if their leaves the next day. They never recovered and this company refused to accept a claim on their so called guarantee. Dishonest and false advertisement. I was out $199.
I will never order from them or any other plant vendor online unless it’s Lowes or Home Depot. Because of this experience, I will only order from local nurseries.

If you want your plants/trees to be delivered weeks after ordering and one by one delivered weeks apart, this is the company for you! I placed my order 2 months ago and am still waiting for 2 plants… apparently, they are shipped from all areas for the country!
They are packaged in huge boxes and arrive VERY DRY AND HAVE TO BE BABIED FOR DAYS FOR SURVIVAL! NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL! there is nothing special about the plants at all… just go to your nearest home improvement or nursery!!

Reply from Fast Growing Trees
Pretty much a scam company. While they deliver what you ordered the products are not healthy and die after a few weeks, regardless of proper planting, care and maintenance. They make good on returns in only the form of a gift card for other products. When you order these, they delay shipment multiple times and won't deliver. I'd suggest you avoid, pay a premium and go to your local nursery. Fast growing trees is a fast growing scam.

Trees are dead and the warranty they promise is not true. Do not order.

Plants arrived had dead. They won’t recover. Called customer service and they say give them two
Months ..I didnt order half dead plants. Going to call the credit card company and get my money back
Well, they refunded my money. I’m happy about that .. make sure you also them what plants get stressed so you can make a better decision than I did

The "warranty" they offer is full of holes. In one instance (and alas I have several instances), they sent me a dead redbud and eventually agreed to replace it (as per their promised warranty) but charged me exorbitantly for shipping it. Then what they sent me was a second dead redbud! I complained but was told the tree could be dormant and that I should plant it and wait awhile. When three months passed and the tree remained dead, I had to spent way too much time dealing with customer service to get a partial refund--and that refund did not include the shipping cost I incurred when they shipped me dead redbud #2.
