STAY AWAY!
STAY AWAY!
This is how they operate:
1) “Free consultation” at this point they will try to sell you any service they provide, and lie if they can’t deal with your condition just to get you in, so expect the cunning weasels to offer you, diets, massage, “sophisticated” equipment to find out where the pain come from (more of this below), which not even an MRI can find ; ) amazing! and so forth.
2) If you fell for it, then you’ll be asked to pay £70 for initial “screening”. No payment, no booking, accompanied by the “we’re very busy so would advise you to book as soon as possible”
The screening consist of:
- Semi naked photographs (full body front, both profiles, and back); no consent sought. This is so they would draw lines across your body picture to come out with hypothesis about body posture, which of course they can fix/help with so you avoid any issues in the future, things like “do you know your head carry 30k more than it should due to your posture” I see!
- “Sophisticated” equipment: they would sell you this as a “scan” misleadingly, which ostensibly can detect issues not even an MRI is able to ; ) wuao! You will basically have some small metal pads place on your bare back to measure body temperature that detects warm areas around your vertebras, such areas are deemed as “severe disturbance” on your discs, which of course require spinal adjustments! (be very careful!). The worst is that even if your spine shows “normal” (white colour) or no disturbances they would still offer you spinal adjustments based on the overall examination and shamelessly advise you that those normal areas would change to red as the treatment progress, and ask you not to worry as it is “normal” and here it is where things can go very wrong! If they bulge up your disks you will never heal and be left in pain for the rest of your life.
- The last part of their “state of the art” assessment is a body mass index (BMI) where basically they measure your body fat composition to try to sell you a diet plan and a personal trainer.
It’s all about finding ways to justify any possible treatment and ultimately get a hold of your wallet. If after reading all this you’re still gullible enough to walk in and put your spine at the hands of this scummers, please do yourself a favour and head to the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and download “The Code” and make sure you read it, and ask them to explain you in detail what your treatment entails and what are the risks every time you are seen and check whether they ask for consent to see what waffle they would come out with, and if something doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t.
These people would pray on the vulnerability that comes from debilitating back pains with their above “business plan”.
You will also be asked to sign a consent form which wave any liability from their side, no signature no treatment, seriously! Please do yourself a favour and stay away from this place!!
As the competition in the area get good reviews this place try to keep up with questionable self-posted gleaming reviews.
Good luck whatever you’re going through with your back pain.
