I was looking for farm management software to take my management and record keeping to the next level and so I trialled farm matters. Neil has been with me every step of the way, on phone and text when I have had the inevitable queries and I have every confidence he will be in the future. If you value personal service this is the software to go for.

Farm matters is so brilliant! Neil is always on the end of the phone and I cannot recommend it more highly! Great system and great service.

Neil and his team are always on hand to guide you through any process you are having difficulties with - be it something you have not encountered before or just old fashioned 'brain fog'. I have recommended Farm Matters to many and will continue to do so.

The software has everything you need and is updated regularly, for a small monthly subscription If you need help or the occasional time an error occurs, Neil is always available to help you out. Nothing is too much trouble.

I like the program because it can go on lots of workers phones, you can change it to whatever your needs and Neil is always there to help.

Neil is always not far from the end of the phone so a problem is quickly fixed - essential but first class!

Tge back up is second to none dosnt matter what time or day it is if something need sorting you get a reply so helpfull

The programe is very easy too use, any problems I just ring any time of day its never any trouble, I get help over the phone, every thing is explained.

I have been using another farm software package for many years. I had just been using it for cattle and sheep medicine records and nothing more - because it did not have the functionality to do what I wanted it to do; for example it would not let me add the details of the cattle owned by my son without taking out another subscription.
Farm Matters has the functionality to keep every record you could possibly want - whether you breed or finish cattle (it can even keep the cost and sale price, and all breeding info too) and/or sheep (exactly the same for sheep) and can also deal with different holding numbers easily.
It can connect to the Eid reader, Scot Eid and BCMS., and newly purchased cattle can be put in using a barcode scanner to minimise mistakes. Simple!
Farm Matters, to be fair, can take a bit of getting used to if you have had zero experience with similar software. It makes absolutely everything you want to do with farm records really, really easy. It can be set up to be totally personal to show the info you want to see at a glance. (if you are familiar with using Excel it helps)
It also can keep the bare minimum medical and movement details as required by Quality Assurance. It is actually really easy to keep the info as you go along with the app on your phone (just remember to upload and download it) - and there is not the blind panic the week before the Quality Assurance inspection trying to find the vet bills and bits of paper with the relevant info!

Farm Matters is an excellent farm software package.
We've used Farm Matters for many years now, it covers all aspects of farm record keeping for cattle, sheep & crops.
All cross compliance issues are covered, animal movements are linked to BCMS etc.
Frequent updates & an excellent back up service are provided by Neil & co.
Can't recommend Farm Matters highly enough.

We have been using Farm Matters for years now and cannot fault it. The software is so easy to use and allows us to track many different aspects of the business. One of our favourite features is being able to generate reports with a click of a button. We often use it to look at a groups weight gain and average weight. If you ever get stuck on how to use it, they are always at the end of the phone with 'how to' advice.

Simply put, Farm Matters is hands down the BEST livestock software I’ve used and I’ve trialled lots. The customer service is quite honestly incredible. Never in this day and age do you deal with some like Neil.
If I don’t know how to do something, I call or WhatsApp him and he responds immediately with a solution. If there’s something I want the software to do, it gets added. It makes it feel like a piece of bespoke software. I’ve moved across from Farmplan where I was for 20+ years and I initially trialled a couple of others including the much hyped herdwatch. Having a pretty shiny app means nothing if the software doesn’t do what you need.
But FarmMatters feels intuitive and incredibly through and like it’s been built by someone who actually farms. Thank you so much for making my life easier.
