A VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!

I would never consider this company to anyone!!!! I never borrowed much too begin as the finance charges were high, so when we were able to refinance to a lower rate we went through so much of back and forth nothing seemed to be going right. WE were told everything was all set and then something else would come up. By the time it finally went through{AFTER A YEAR!!!!!} so much more of the finance charge had accrued,which was horrible!!! WE decided to sell and what we had to pay in finance charges were ridiculous. That never would have happened if things were handled in a more professional manner!!!! Horrible company!!!!!!

Customer Service was very good

Customer Service was very good. No long waits. Quick answers. Unfortunately, FAR apparently cannot increase the line of credit on my mortgage with a new appraisal, but a refinance is required.

Reverse of America just fine except for overly detailed document requirement for CONDOS when refinancing.

Easy to understand process

Easy to understand process. Could have used a check in phone call from agent to see how ever thing was.

I was not satisfied with everything…

I was not satisfied with everything that went on while trying to get this company to approve my financing. I know it was during the pandemic and both the agent I was working with and I had some family issues however, I never completely finish the process. I spend unnecessary money to get things done and till this day it’s still not complete so I can’t say I was satisfied when nothing happened

Great Refinance

I got pre-qualified with this company…

I got pre-qualified with this company for a purchase and based upon that pre-qualification put in an offer on a property which was accepted. Getting an accepted offer these days is difficult. Then Finance of America Reverse kept dragging me on saying they would do the loan and then on the final days before closing, they were still dragging me along I ended up paying cash for the property because they failed while promising all along. Stay away from them!

Agree with what you want but do what they can.

I did not move forward with the re-finance offered for my reverse mortgage. The conversation with your representative was very helpful and supportive of my desired outcome. However, the written proposal was not what I believed represented my main reasons for undergoing this process. Thank but no thanks.
