Went to book two round trip tickets to Las Vegas for cheap price. They call me back in about a half an hour saying because it was discount tickets & standby that I can't get my money back, so they changed the dates of my flight. I had to pay a significantly amount of money for my tickets. I don't know how any of this is even legal.Nothing but a scam I will never go through them again!!

I would also give this company 00000 Stars this is the worst I MEAN THE WORST COMPANY they bait you in with low prices that you pay for flights THATS NON REFUNDABLE you get an actual confirmation number from your booking you also get your flight itinerary only to find out that you have nothing...THEY CALL YOU LATER IN THE DAY TO TELL YOU THE AIRLINES HAS YOU PAID FOR TICKETS ON HOLD INDEFINITELY AND THE ONLY WAY TO GET THEM IS AN UPCHARGE DAMN NEAR DOUBLE (SCAM) and then they change you whole flight plan and book you on the cheapest flights with the longest layovers DONT FOOL WITH THESE PEOPLE AT ALL

Do not use them. They try to scam you into paying for a carry on and personal item, which is free. Nowhere does it say it is not included in their contract. They will keep calling and calling trying to get more money out of you. DO not use this sight. Bad news!!!!

I would give this company a negative 10 if I could. This company is a fraud and please do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. They advise a cheap fake price as baits and they switched to a much higher price that they charge as their fee. The final price is much higher than what the airline charges.

04/23/2024: Since I can't reply to your comment, I am going to add to my original comment. You purposely waited TWO MONTHS after my original comment above to reply to this comment, pretending to ask how to help with my trip. This is already beyond my travel date, that's why I didn't reply since I've already come back from my trip. If you were so keen to help, why not reach out right after the comment rather than waiting two months after I post this comment? Thieves trying to look good, but backfired on yourselves and further proved you are just a scam. You never had any intention to help.

I made a last minute booking for myself and my 3 year old to go from Dublin to Philly to say goodbye to my dying grandfather. The charge came through on my credit card and I contacted CheapOAir (owned by Fareportal) as I hadn't received my ticket information, only a booking confirmation. After an hour on chat with them, I received my tickets only to shortly receive an email stating my flight was cancelled. I contacted them again and spent over 4 hours on chat with them to have them end the chat on me. They sent me several emails during this time to say they tried to call me, this was not the case and I even verified my phone number with them multiple times. They are now refusing to call me and giving me a New York based phone number to call from the UK. Their two UK phone numbers fail and the link to their customer support page doesn't load.

Fraudulent going after me for a reimbursement through my bank koho and claiming air canada needed the money back and I need to pay back the charge back. Its weird the number is american and it sounds like a call center out of india. I don't trust cheapoair collections that air canada needed the money immediately as cheapoair was given more then enough time to respond to the dispute and they waited until the last minute to harass me. If air canada would of had a concern they would of reached out me. Then cheapoair was falsely accusing me of being a no show when I clearly canceled my flights through cheapoair prior. It doesn't add up. I blocked their number and email. I reached out to a lawyer hopefully they get back to me.

They outsource everything including fake Indian recruiters who sound like those IRS scammers.

Fare portal curiously issue the credit note for Cheapoair. After my flight was cancelled from Manchester To Punta Carna for a wedding. They then confirmed they had issued altetnstive ticket with another airline. Never arrived. 2 days to Wedding I had to book at short notice and pay another airline double the price. The credit note issued by Sergio Garcia was a con with all manner of restrictions
When legally they ar law should issue you an immediate refund. Next flight was, again cancelled after I had paid for hotels in Tennerife. No refund again just a credit note.
Then I try to use the credit note again with an uplift in the cost by £150 then they notify after confirmation after numerous phone calls taking hours to answer there arny any seats left but by the they've theived the £150 uplift from my credit card.
Do not use this company do not believe anything they tell you. Its like aykng Russian roulette with every click of the trigger firing a live round. Look at the reviews in the Cheap air Trust pilot site. Never ending distress caused by this companies fraudent illegal conduct.
They should face criminal charges not civil charges companies like this who are exploiting trusting people should be closed down.

Ripped off by Cheapsoair scam Corp.
Still waiting on a refund as well due to my trip being cancelled from COVID pandemic. We have had zero response from Cheapoair scam Corp and have called, emailed and left messages with them with most calls ending in a disconnect after hours of waiting. The AG needs to get involved with this scam company and a class action lawsuit filed . Please advise anyone and everyone to NOT use FarePortal or any subsidiaries including Cheapoair scam Corp.

Fare Portal is the parent company of CheapoAir and they are as unethical to deal with as CheapoAir on refunding our $1471 from our round trip airfare from Newark, NJ to Rome, Italy. Our flights were cancelled due to restrictions of flying to Italy, which is in lockdown due to the COVID19 pandemic. After months of trying to reach them due to them not answering their phones, or emails and being blocked on their website, we dealt with customer service who lied and told us they would get clearance from United Airlines to refund our money or give us United Airlines travel certificates (not CheapoAir credit, which is useless). Is there a way to update my video with a follow up statement ?
CheapoAir has informed us on Saturday, June 6th, that as a "goodwill gesture", they will only refund us $300 out of our $1471 payment and the rest would be a credit with them only if we fly the exact same itinerary on United Airlines from Newark to Rome before Sept 3rd, 2020. Getting the same exact itinerary will of course be near impossible and so we will essentially lose the rest of our money. This is unacceptable and unethical. We have reported them to the Better Business Bureau, the Dept of Transportation and now the NJ Attorney General's office. Under no circumstances should you ever use CheapoAir, FarePortal or TripMate (the travel insurance company that CheapoAir sells you to protect your trip) or you risk losing your hard earned money. They will lie or say they will help you, just to pacify you, during a world pandemic.

Here is background on our trip: We booked two round trip tickets from NJ to Rome, Italy last Sept (leaving NJ on June 23rd 2020) to catch a cruise leaving from Rome. When COVID19 first broke out and Italy went on lockdown, our cruise was cancelled and we tried getting through to CheapoAir. Our airline tickets were on United/AirCanada going to Rome and SwissAir on the return for $1471. Long wait times on the phone and live chat, only to be disconnected after 4-6 hours. When we finally reached someone in mid March, they said to go take it up with the airlines, which we did - even driving to Newark airport to speak to the agents live (before the NJ lockdown). Airlines all said we have to get our refund from CheapoAir. They are a joke of a company and I’m warning everyone to NOT use them at all costs !! I complained to the DOT (Dept of Transportation) the BBB, the NJ Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs and posted on RipOffReport about how they completely abandon their customers. Basically they are a complete scammer organization. When we finally got through and their representative escalated our claim and said he was putting in for a full refund and it would take 2-3 weeks. But he refused to send us a confirmatory email that he has put through for a refund or a CheapoAir credit (not accepting a credit - only a full refund). The TripMate travel insurance that CheapoAir sold us also is not responding to our claim. Stay far away from both of these horrible companies.

The company terminates it's employees according it's whims and fancies. At the time of an epidemic where the whole country needs support from their employers, these maniacs are terminating a whole lot of employees on the ground that due to the Corona virus, the company is not generating revenue. PATHETIC

Filed a BBB complaint. Cheap O Air had changed my flight and dropped one of my children's tickets off my itinerary through American Airlines. I purchased travel protection, and have spent over 2hrs on the phone with Cheap O Air to get my full refund. They started telling me that the airline would not refund me without booking another trip through them. I demanded a full refund, stated this is not acceptable business practice, and they need to make it right. I have been on hold awaiting the refund processing after being disconnected after 50minutes, now I am going on 1hr and 15min. Disgusting.

This holding has a number of fraudulent travelagencies under it's wing. Cheapoair for example, watch out, you WILL lose your money if you book with them!
