Fairway doesn't seem so fair…

Fairway doesn't seem so fair anymore...since the original owners sold it to another organization, prices have soared and will leave you sore. Also, when you check out, keep a close eye on the screen--last night at their Sixth Ave store, I went to purchase two different ice cream pints that were clearly touted as ON SALE per signs on the freezer doors--non-sale and VERY high prices came up for both. A clerk gave me the right prices but even he remarked that the Fairway sale prices don't always make it into the computer/registers.
Found myself wondering how long they will last with such terrible prices and such sketchy practices...
