Concern Regarding Recruiter Engagement
I initially expected to work directly with a headhunter or recruiter to support my job search. Instead, I followed the instructions to update my profile, but none of Experteer’s recruiters viewed it. While I’m disappointed in the service itself, I’m genuinely grateful to Jan in customer support for listening to my concerns and processing a full refund. Thank you for your assistance.

I have trialed many job search vendors…
I have trialed many job search vendors over the years and this is by far the worst. Not only did I receive very few relevant leads, but they billed me repeatedly. Most search firms will credit you back if you cancel your subscription after the renewal date. Experteer refused to do so. They keep your money even after you've canceled the subscription. You feel completely scammed by them.

Scam, will charge you again and again... for nothing
Subscribed with them in desperate times when looking for a job. Not even one interview in 3 months. The same jobs you can find in public domain without paying.
Did not use the service for 8 months, and they just auto-renewed my subscription!
No option to cancel subscription on your profile - you have to email them to get that done.
Classical scam practise.

Exceptional Customer Service and Empathy
I recently faced an issue with my Experteer subscription due to a tight financial situation. After contacting their customer support team, I was truly impressed by their willingness to listen and help. They demonstrated an empathetic mindset and promptly resolved my concern by canceling the pending invoice as an act of goodwill.
Experteer’s customer service team went above and beyond to assist me during a challenging time, and I am deeply grateful for their understanding and support. It’s rare to find such a solution-oriented and compassionate approach to customer care these days.
Thank you, Experteer, for prioritizing the human aspect in your services. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your platform to others.

misleading billing info / scam
I opted for '1 month subscription' which ended up being a rolling monthly subscription without my knowledge. Luckily I spotted the charge in my banking app, only to realise I had been paying €30 per month for a service I only wanted for 30 days!
The CV review was ok but got zero job prospects from the site (even when I didn't realise I was still paying for it!).
I think it's very misleading on the part of the company not to be clear on their billing structure, it's borderline scamming. Steer clear, do not subscribe, you will mainly just get spam emails.

An awful service do not use
An awful service. The algorithms send through inappropriate opportunities for my experience and qualification. There was no account given for my location requirement either. Saved searches were irrelevant to the results.
No personal service and I cancelled my account last year and they took another payment this year.
I have subsequently been talking to a professional organisation and they were amazed that you had to pay for this type of service. They offer it for free and gain a commission from the employer.
Do not use this service. If there were zero stars I would have given that.

Awful Service/ Scam
Stay away!!! This is an awful service, there was no value provided by their site and any potential role I saw, was "not available" when going to apply. They collect your information and provide no alert or warning when the renewal comes up and continue to charge for a service they don't provide. Customer service was even worse, as I tried multiple times to contact and only heard back once after 3 days.
UPDATE: As shown by their response, this company has terrible customer service. While the renewal policy is shown on the initial payment screen, there is no warning that it is about to renew. I actually canceled on the renewal date and also e-mailed the company at around 9:00am EST on 11/12, and then again around 12:30pm EST on 11/13, asking for a refund as I did not find their service useful. They responded 3 days later at 6:00am EST on 11/15 letting me know they would not refund anything. This site requires you to fill out a ton of information and pushes the premium subscription that does nothing as they are just looking for the membership fees.

Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company. They spend more time spam harassing you trying to sell you a premium membership for jobs they don't let you see without one, resume building advice, consulting etc than they do actually trying to place you. This isn't a job placement agency or one that even helps you at all. It's a website that takes postings you'd find for free on indeed, reposts them on their site behind a paywall and trick you into thinking it's a premium service you're being offered. Save your money and time and stay away from these unethical scammers.

Just for money
Sign up and the majority of communication you get is to tell you how unlikely it is to help unless you pay premium - very poor offer

Charges at the end
Thank you for responding to my concern below. "They collect all your data, and once you have spent all your valuable time on it, you will be asked to pay a large amount before the final stage to submit the application. These charges should have been mentioned in the beginning so that we will decide whether to waste time in registration or not.

Overpriced, not useful, deceptive practices
While Experteer discloses its auto-renewal policy upon signup (in small print), they do not send any kind of warning or reminder before the renewal hits your card. In addition, their cancellation process is misleading at best. After submitting a cancellation request, the website tells you (in small print) to watch for an email with a link to confirm that you really want to cancel. I missed it the first time and had to watch my Gmail Spam folder for it.
When I submitted a support request on the DAY of my auto-renewal asking for a refund, they responded with screenshots of the policy and essentially said "tough luck". While the company is within its right to enforce the terms of its policy, this is a prime example of the difference between "being right" and "getting it right."
On top of all that, Experteer is not particularly useful when compared to competitors liked LinkedIn, Ladders, etc.
All told - It's a very expensive service that should be better than it is, coupled with deceptive business practices. Buyer beware.

SCAM, SCAM and SCAM.
THE SMAE SITUATION as this message. SCAM, SCAM and SCAM. Threaten to increase fee if not payement. Never trust this company. Scam that will charge you for 3 month and you cannot cancel

STAY AWAY and do not sign up
STAY AWAY and do not sign up for any subscription or service as they will continue to bill you without your authorization and then tell you “Too bad it’s been billed".
They send spam e-mail about expired roles, but don’t send reminders about your subscription. I received an email with a job opportunity and to get to know details about the job it was required a subscription of 15 days that I happily paid with my credit card, but to my disappointing surprise this old job was not available since a long time ago, hence a definite spam. They also did not clearly inform me that my 15 days purchase subscription will be automatically renewed on a quarterly basis not even mentioning the cost involved. Don't sign up in the first place, and if you do get tricked into getting an account, make sure you log in and delete your account.

It's a SCAM
It's a SCAM! Do not trust this company. What they advertise as a one-month subscription is not true. They automatically extend the subscriptions. I paid for a month and didn't receive any contact with recruiters or any offer—zero, nothing. Then, they automatically extended it for another month. Since my Visa card didn't have a balance, they automatically downgraded me to basic. Now, they're asking me to pay for the time the contract was automatically extended, during which they didn't provide any premium service. Be CAREFUL. They will threaten you. I've handed this over to my lawyer and won't waste any more time dealing with scammers.
