Accounting Issue

I had an issue that required speaking with someone from the accounting department. I spoke with Marco, who listened to my concern with interest and respect. He called my back within an hour with the information he had regarding the matter. We then began solving the issue with both his information and my information and with a short conversation we were able to resolve the problem to everyone's satisfaction. He was a most pleasant person to speak with and very helpful.

We purchased a plan

We purchased a plan, yet it was cancelled several times by EB for nonpayment of premium. Their payments received posted the payment to the cc, yet sent out notices of cancellation. When our vehicle was in for repair of the air conditioner, the tech called EB with the amount repairs only to be told our policy had been cancelled! We had to get that straightened out! We ended up paying upfront front to get our vehicle back & experienced frustration to get refunded! It took several weeks only to be shorted $138 for what they called high labor costs. Then Jose whined when he has to deal with an unhappy customer. Our premiums pay his salary! EB then charged us for an additional month plus a $75 early cancellation fee. We would gave been money ahead never getting involved with EB. Hopefully this will save someone from going through the nightmare we experienced!

We’re sorry to hear about your frustration and want to provide full clarity regarding your account. You purchased your policy on May 17, 2024. A claim was filed by your repair facility on July 11, 2025. When our adjuster reached out, the facility did not answer, and by the time they returned the call on July 16, 2025, the repair had already been completed without authorization. On July 18, 2025, you requested reimbursement.

As clearly stated on every page of your contract, authorization must be obtained from the administrator before any teardown or repairs begin. Because this step was not followed, the claim did not qualify for reimbursement. Despite this, we went above and beyond by processing payment to assist you. The difference you reference was due to the repair facility overcharging on parts, as well as your $100 deductible. You were not “shorted” — the amount was paid in line with your signed contract and the final invoice.

On August 20, 2025, another claim was filed but was still in process when you requested cancellation on August 21, 2025. Because cancellation was requested before the claim could be finalized, it was denied. You were not billed for any month after cancellation. The charge you reference occurred on August 17, 2025, which was your normal billing date as outlined in your plan. As stated in the contract you signed, a $75 cancellation fee applies when the consumer requests to cancel.

While we understand this situation was frustrating, it is important to note that we followed the contract language and procedures exactly as agreed to at the time of purchase. We strive to be fair, consistent, and transparent in every case, and your feedback helps us continue to improve communication with both customers and repair facilities.

I purchased a whole house and auto policy and everytime I called I was told they didn't cover that. I cancelled the policy 3 times in 90 days and it didn't get done and I was still billed. I stopped that from happening again. the company doesn't rate even one star but that's the lowest I can go

We’re sorry to hear about your frustrations, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify. After reviewing your account, we do see that you held both a home and vehicle policy with us beginning January 7, 2025. A claim was filed in June 2025 for replacement of ABS components. While part of the repair was approved, the ABS module and HCU were not covered, as documentation showed the issue existed prior to the policy start date. As outlined in your contract, pre-existing conditions are not eligible for coverage.

We also want to clarify that a cancellation request was first received on September 10, 2025, and your policies were cancelled at that time. We did not find any prior requests for cancellation on record.

We understand that denied claims and cancellations can be frustrating, but we strive to handle every case fairly and in accordance with the contract terms.

They were great!

Was super worried about filing a claim due to mixed feelings regarding warranty companies, as well as the reviews. But I was back in my car in no time. Car wouldn’t start, called for a tow, took it in on Monday and had my car back by Friday. Spoke with a few representatives from the company and they were transparent. Great service provided. Definitely recommend!
