"Evernote" is a very good text managing program (structure, organizing, etc.). I've been using it since 2013 and don't want to move anywhere yet. BUT! Since the company "Bending Spoons" bought "Evern... See more

My literal "second brain" - Premium user since 2010
I have been an Evernote Premium customer since December 27, 2010. It is literally my "second brain," holding nearly 3,500 notes since day one. I use it every single day across all my devices: my cellphone, tablet, laptop, and desktop PC. What I appreciate most about Evernote is its incredible stability, seamless accessibility, and ultimate flexibility. It is an indispensable tool for my daily organization.
Need drag-and-drop functionality
I would appreciate a more visual and intuitive method for moving individual notes between notebooks. Improving this workflow with clearer UI elements, drag-and-drop functionality, or other visual interactions would make note organization much more efficient and user-friendly.
love the updates!
It really is my second brain LOL
It really is my second brain LOL! I have been keeping personal notes in Evernote for over a decade and I love it. I put my packing lists, party planning, journal entries, creative ideas, everything - into Evernote. It pays for itself.
If I could get rid of them I would
they changed their pricing structure and I feel like they are ripping people off now. support is not useful , especially for the price
I have been using Evernote since 2007
I have been using Evernote since 2007. It is THE place where I know I can get answers when someone asks me some arkane question like, what are the RGB numbers for your corporate logo - or - why did we make that decision 6 months ago.
Evernote - don't leave home without it.

The billing is unclear and I feel Evernote is often looking for opportunities to bill more. no GPT connector this needs to be worked on
Double the price now for half the benefits
It was a wonderful system that I was loyal user of since 2010. I stored everything in it. Then it rolled out a series of AI "enhancements" nobody asked for, eliminated whatever customer service existed, and doubled the price. I'm waiting to run out my current contract and I'm gone

It is so easy to use and to organise me!
It is so easy to use and to organise different projects into different books and notes. It also links seamlessly between my mac and my phone. It has saved me a lot of stress!!!
An indispensable tool
An indispensable tool for collecting and organizing the notes and plans that make progress possible.
Its good.. but its also bad. 100% Pricing increases
5 star product, 1 star pricing model.
I have loved Evernote since the beginning. I was an OG user, back when it was free - like at least 10 years.
Then they were bought and the price went to $129/year. I skipped out and migrated everything to Apple. Painful for a bit, but I didn't find the value in the product that first year. But the second year, I bought back in at 129/yr and started using it again - it works great with my work PC and home macbook and iphone. Then I switched to the Galaxy 26 Ultra and remembered why I liked EN in the first place.
But Now they are DOUBLING the price again for a personal user to $250/yr.
No thanks, I can't keep coming back if they keep doubling the subscription pricing every few years.
nEverNote: I wish I could escape
Nothing went wrong - just its a pain, constant useless updates, with more unwanted changes and extra unwanted features for an unreasonable price. That and high levels of CPU use a lot of the time. I am locked in of course. I'd even pay more to get less. Just a stable constant notebook for writing notes and clipping text from websites.
Good note taking app
Clean UI and has most features that I want out of a notes app. However, the pricing model changes has been rough. I am on the legacy plan, so I've been overall insulated, but integrating AI into the application and increasing the subscription cost 4x+ and then limiting my existing usage has made me look for other alternatives. Altogether a fine app for users that don't have high expectations of their notes app, but there are better alternatives for detailed oriented users.

I have used Evernote for years for journaling. It has been very adaptable to my needs. The price quite a bit this year but still want to use the program.
I've been an Evernote subscriber since…
I've been an Evernote subscriber since about 10 years ago. I witnessed this app getting better each version it iterates. For a planning maniac like me, Evernote is already part of my life. I use it to plan my day, my week, my month and my year. I use it to take down inspirations, but list down to-dos, and plan my children's calendar. It is just such a powerful and friendly tool. Especially the version control - I used to experience some glitches like "version conflict" when simultaneously editing. Now this problem is completely gone. Even if I was sometimes offline editing, it syncs so fast that I can't even notice when I am back online. Now I have 5317 notes on this app and the number is keep going up. My only worry is that if (god forbid) Evernote goes away one day, I would feel like my entire 10 years' memory will go with, which will most definitely devastate me. I will do everything to keep it alive. Seriously.
Too expensive
The price is too expensive, compared to the service (slow and unfriendly app while storage space is enough).
I'll move to competitors after exporting all data.
