I wanted to get a quote estimate as I already have the window sizes from the drawings. They only provide a quote if you book a site visit or team meeting, which I didn't want to do. I can't comment on... See more

Terrible experience!
We moved into a new house and wanted a new door. The old one had drafts and scuffs, but it was sturdy and SAFE! It just looked tired. We went with Everest, and after settling on a design, survey and payment, we awaited delivery. The door was supposed to come in October 2025, it didn’t show until late January 2026. When they installed it, it wasn’t even the right door!! Meanwhile, our old door was knocked out, and the stained glass we wanted to keep got destroyed. When I pointed out that it was the wrong door, installation stopped; leaving out the frame. It's such an eyesore. There was also a design flaw that just made it impossible to leave it as is, plus, it's such a weak door. The doorknob they installed is so weak that my toddler has tried to walk out multiple times. It doesn’t even slam shut, so if you don't lock it, anyone could stroll in from outside. It's ridiculous. We've complained and chased for almost 2 months now. At first they were responsive, now I can't even get a response or get through to the people that have been working on this case. Avoid!!!

Hard to know where to start
Hard to know where to start! Enquired about fitting secondary double-glazing. Salesman visited, measured-up and quoted a total price for 5 units. He did not have a product sample to demonstrate quality and functionality but did the old 'hard-sell' tactic of saying the quoted price would increase if we delayed payment of the requested deposit. Paid deposit on strict understanding that a sample would be forthcoming before order was confirmed. Surveyor came to measure-up accurately prior to manufacture of units but still did not produce a sample. I put order on 'hold' until sample was eventually produced, some weeks later. Sample looked good so I confirmed the order. Quite outrageous that salesman is unable to produce a product sample! When fitter finally arrived with units, they were not as per sample in that each plastic & aluminium construction was framed with untreated and unpainted batten as a spacer on all 4 sides. One unit had been incorrectly measured and was too small. Once installed, the finished articles looked awful and I instructed Everest to refit each of them without the unspecified wooden trim. A fitter returned to do this but then the units did not fit properly or look good so instructed Everest to remake as per sample. Eventually, after 6 visits, I got what I had originally ordered and the units look very good and now fit neatly. It has been a lengthy struggle but surveyors and fitters have all done their best and been polite and understanding. The same sadly cannot be said of the Everest management/customer services, who failed to engage and offer any apologies or compensation for the ill-fitting units, the delays and inconvenience this whole sorry saga caused. Several phone calls and e-mails to them remained unanswered - not good enough! Although they have eventually done the job properly, it was only because I stood my ground and refused to accept '2nd-best'. I am not sure it was worth all the hassle, but I am finally a satisfied customer and the house is definitely warmer as a result. Advice to potential customers - keep a very close eye on every stage of the process!

The fitter and his assistant did a very good job. Very pleased.
The fitter Kevin and his assistant Ben arrived on time. They did an excellent job installing our new front door as requested. Altogether it took less than 2 hours. Kevin is an excellent professional. His assistant and himself get on very well together thus creating a very good atmosphere. Both not only were courteous and professional but also cleaned everything behind them, so much so that we had nothing to do except admire our new front door once they departed. Highly recommended. Many thanks again.

I had originally posted a job for triple glazing
I had originally posted a job for replacement windows for our house via an advert (App) in the Independant newspaper. I had many replies from companies but decided to go with a local company in the high street. Having paid a deposit of about £1,000 with the local company, Everest phoned me (I assumed the contact was via the newspaper advert (App)). They asked me about the windows, I told them I had already engaged a company to install the windows. Everest wanted to know if the deposit was paid to the local window company within the cooling off period, and asked me to cancel that deposit and go with Everest. I thought that this was cheaky, unprofessional and immoral and I declined to do so. The glazing was fitted by the local company and happy I did.

“I had a very good experience with…
“I had a very good experience with Everest for my new door. The installation was completed one week earlier than scheduled, which was a great surprise. The installer arrived on time — even a bit early — and finished the job in just two hours on his own. He worked efficiently and professionally, and the door looks fantastic. Overall, I’m very happy with the service.”

I deeply regret choosing Everest
And 6 months later?
Still nothibg from these scamers!!!
Meantime, I hear every person talking on the street as in my home! No insulation what's so ever, hot in summer, cold in winter, ( comparing with my old windows) no energy labels, no response from them apart from delaying me. Nothing! No solution for me than Court for small claims!
Theft!
I chosen Everest for their reputation, despite having multiple local installers. I had installed a window by them. While initially, I was quoted £3,000, the saleman drop the price to £1,800, promising an A rated window to their best standards. He told me that all their windows have Argon between the glass pane, and all the papers will be with me after the installation. Installation come 7 weeks later, and soon after I realised that my 15 years old window was performing better than their A rated double glazing. The room is significantly colder and I can hear people speaking on the street. I asked for the technical sheet to see the U-value and energy label, and 1 month later I still do not have them. I really doubt that the window is A rated and has Argon gas inside. I paid £1,800 for the hope of the best window, but what I got is just a bad joke. I deeply regret chosing them and I would advice everyone to ask written confirmation of the technical specs before hand. In their contract is not written, so be aware what you're buying. You buy trust and get a product worst than from your local companies.. it's excruciating paintful.

In my opinion steer clear … Fit the best.. Avoid Everest …
In my opinion .. use a local company!
Everest does not appear to be the quality company it used to be!
Our sales experience was standard, however from that point customer contact, service, communication was dire!
After chasing on numerous occasions the fitting date was eventually provided and then we received a call in the day to say it had been put back as another job had over run… after 2 more weeks of chasing for a new date …. Ignored emails and calls they came to fit the window.
The window is stale yellow
We were advised it was called Traffic White … when we expected ‘Brilliant White’ we requested a sales call or a surveyor to come and advise/quality check but no-one has ever called, despite us chasing.
We had a building safety specialist in to check other doors and windows in the property who advised the fitting was low standard and the window opener should have a child safety bracket on as standard due to the height of the building.
Use this company at your peril!
If you have time to chase, be ignored, pay premium for a standard product that looks like it was manufactured in the 1960s yellow stain era…. Go for it … otherwise use a company who takes pride in their work, has some customer service etiquette and quality standards.

Don't use these guys
Don't use these guys! Complete rip off. Not only did the guy that was booked in to see us didn't turn up and at the time of the appointment told us he was 1 hour away but if we agreed a door on the phone he would put it through as staff discount. He then quoted us £8500 with the discount. Daylight robbery, lazy staff and the whole experience sounded very 'wide boy' how is this such a well known company. Also haven't stopped getting emails since even after I have asked to be taken off the mailing list. We have had two quotes recently from local door companies who have quoted £1700-£2000 and are lovely, honest people who haven't offered discounts, who did show up on time for the appointments and im glad to support a local company. Avoid Everest would be my advice!

WOULD RATE A 0 IF I COULD
First time home owners and first time window buyers, sold a dream, experienced a nightmare, Very expensive for the service i received, should of trusted locally.
I am disgusted by the service from everest the only good experience i had was the salesman before...
Two installers who can treated my property awfully, left mugs on bin, and one installer even took my limited mug, which then when reported was brought back the next day... funny that.
Raised complaints to everest fallen on deaf ears, the window was for a child so was quoted with child restrictors only one was installed was told the other would be installed ona. two day window, waited in from work both days no show and now no answer to texts and calls, quick to take your money but slow to respond to support complaints and resolving issues they made, stick local do not use.

Don't use this scammers!
Don't use this scammers!
We purchased their windows and had them installed in autumn 2020, they are already absolute rubbish and much worse than windows we replaced and it has been only barely 5.5 years! Windows closing system/ lock jamms and windows are difficult to open - case with three of five windows installed. Corners of the windows do not close properly, hinges are clearly of poor quality and two of remaining windows have giant drafts in all the corners, making a flat impossible to heat. So Everest windows are not upgrade but downgrade despite of costing a fortune.
But now cherry at the top - windows were bought with 10 years guarantee which no one honours now. Everest went into administration in 2024, immediately reopened as 'new' Everest, with same website, logo etc but without taking responsibility for past contracts and warranties. They sent us to insurer who also shrugged their shoulders claiming 'old' Everest didn't register the job with them so they cannot help. Worse money ever spent!

Great support from the whole team
Every interaction I've had with Everest - Jason, Alan and Nick - has been fantastic. They've been knowledgeable, friendly and professional, going out of their way to make sure I get what I need. Highly recommend (even if this means moving to the Westcountry)!

I would write zero if I could I have…
I would write zero if I could I have had two appointments for them to come and give me a quote for three properties I have to have all new windows. They never turned up on both occasions. Absolutely disgusting how do they run a business. To miss out the opportunity to gain a customer spending thousands of pounds. They are also connected to Anglian and safe style and because I had an appointment with them the other companies won’t come out. That’s absolutely fine I’ve taken my business to a far more reliable and reputable company. No wonder these businesses go out of business when they go on like this.

Felbridge- All Window Replacement
Dave, Pete, Mark and Liam from the Eastbourne Depot have been working on replacing every single window in my property in Felbridge. They were amazing throughout the entire week. Despite the size of the task they were always working hard and were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly throughout the week. I would recommend any of them for any future job. Pleasure to work with and great ambassadors for the company.

Felt good throughout the process
Good salesman who listened to our requirements. Confirmation of the installation date was the day before which we felt was a bit late. Bit surprised when an Anglian van turned up not Everest. Jack and Jake could not have been nicer. Very tidy, boots off in the house and dust sheets everywhere. Quite a difficult two fits but an excellent job done. Windows look better than before. 5 stard

Non-existent customer service from Everest
Recently used Everest for a new front door. Starting with the positive, the new door looks great and the installation was excellent. However, Everest's customer service is non-existent. At point of placing the order, we were promised the door would be installed within 8 weeks. After 8 weeks, there was no door and a deafening silence from Everest. On chasing up, they would not give me any indication of when the door would be installed. When i tried to cancel the order, I was told i would have to pay them £720 for the cancellation!!! Eventually i got an installation date 17 weeks after placing the order but there was a no show from Everest that day. Then another no show the next day. Then on the third day a miracle happened and rhe door was installed. Things happen and we can deal with delays....but the lack of proactive communication from Everest after taking a hefty deposit from me was completely unacceptable.

Great install teams
The Anglian team have just completed our roofline work and the result is fantastic. Dean and James are indeed the dream team for this project. They worked tirelessly each day in very nasty weather conditions to complete the job. Their professionalism helped to sort out a few snags along the way and they were always friendly and helpful - a joy to have them around.
If only the office-based project management side of the installation could have been as slick. We didn't receive much communication prior to the installation and a simple material sample 'got lost' and had to be redone. It also took a long time between paying the deposit and the work starting unlike the window project which didn't have such a delay. Finally, after making a formal complaint online we got some action but it really shouldn't have needed that. I
Some particular people to note for their professionalism, friendliness and efficiency of work - Jason Hughes (surveyor) was totally professional, friendly and helpful. Pete and Nick did a fantastic job on the windows last summer, Dean and James completed the roofline work and Paul Burnett did a great job of installing the last few windows and doors and again went about it professionally and speedily. It is the quality of the installers and surveyor's work plus the care and attention they give that maintain Anglian's reputation.

Extremely poor customer service
I booked an appointment only to be called the night before by the Everest representative and told that he may or may not be able to attend. When I asked to book another appointment I was rudely told to call customer services myself and rearrange, although it was the Everest representative who couldn't confirm if he could honour the pre-booked appointment.
I made an official complaint only to be called back with absolutely no resolution apart from requesting another booking.
Extremely poor customer service on every level. Needless to say I won't be useing Everest and would NOT recommend them

Disappointing, lower quality
Our previous experience with Everest had been excellent. This time it was different. We expected a 70mm front door. Instead we got a standard width. Everest said they'd check but never got back to us. Disappointed.

ZERO STARS!!!!
If I could have given no stars then I would have. I've rang to get a quote for a new build property. The guy called me back left a voicemail. Asked me to ring back. Got through to reception, reception couldn't find the address because it's a new build property refused to put me through to anyone to discuss buying a £60,000 conservatory and was happy to let me say to them so you'd rather lose the sale because you can't find an address. Absolutely outrageous!
