Awful, stressful experience. Extremely long wait to bag drop. Only 2 desks of BA open so the wait was all-round 1.5 hours. Meaning that it was a run for security followed by the most chaotic scenes i have ever seen at passport control. Made our flight by skin of our teeth despite arrival 2 hours pre flight. Check in staff hugely unhelpful with empty platitudes. Horrible experience
The individual who processed my immigration at the airport treated me quite poorly. Their manner of looking at me from head to toe and tossing my passport felt entirely discriminatory. Despite possessing a valid visa, I was treated as though I were attempting to enter the country unlawfully. At the end of the ead we all are humans. Be kind. Don't be racist.
