They tell you you can download music free of charge, specifying no credit card required. Once you go to download anything they ask for your credit card anyway and say start your 30 day free trial, to which as soon as you put in your details they charge you immediately anyway. Make sure to stay away when companies are this shady and dishonest.

I have had a very positive experience with Epidemic Sound overall. The service itself is excellent and very easy to use, with a great catalog that works really well for my projects.
I also had a very good experience with their customer service. The support team responded quickly, was understanding, and helped me find a fair solution for my account situation.
The communication was friendly, professional, and respectful throughout the whole process. I really appreciated how clearly everything was explained and how uncomplicated the support was.

I joined Epidemic sound in 2025 then successfully cancelled not long after because I hadn't set up my You Tube channel.
Early this year I joined again but at the age of 73, I found the site too complicated and after a couple of months tried to cancel my subscription.
Here's the problem - when I try to cancel my subscription it keeps taking me into my first sign up telling me I have already cancelled. There are no details showing for my second subscription yet ES are taking money from my bank account every month.
I contacted Customer Services through their website so have no copy of my message. They did not reply. How long are they going to take money from my bank when I have nothing to do with ES?
This is very frustrating. It should be easy to close an account.

I paid a subscription to this company so that I could use their music on my YouTube channel. I did so yet they put in a copyright claim and my video was demonetised. Now try and get in touch with them to discuss - not a chance - yet another company willing to take your money without supplying what they offer - and yet another company that is virtually impossible to speak with a human - verdict: total pants
