Great platform simply way better than steam

It’s a scam and it doesn’t allow you to get refunds I paid 40 dollars for V bucks digital card for my son birthday yesterday and received nothing my son was heartbroken. I never seen this scam coming and I’m so disappointed

Epic games ruined rocket league has made Fortnite a money grabbing game for skins and side pets that do nothing and cost 15$ challenges don’t work on Fortnite even after weeks of people complaining putting in bug reports and contacting developers about the issue it still isn’t fixed this company is a waste of peoples lives and I’m sorry for the children that grew up with this god forsaken company

I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with Epic Games account recovery support.

My account was hacked around 2023–2024, and despite multiple recovery attempts over the past 2–3 years, I’ve been stuck in the same repetitive process. Every time I submit an appeal, I receive a generic response stating “discrepancies found,” but no clear explanation is ever provided.

What’s more frustrating is the complete lack of human-level support. There is no option for a phone call or direct verification, even when I’m willing to provide detailed proof of ownership, transaction history, and any required identification.

I had purchased games (including GTA V) using my personal savings, and losing access to that account means losing both money and progress. This is not just an inconvenience—it’s a financial loss.

Epic Games claims to prioritize account security, but from a user perspective, the recovery system feels rigid, opaque, and unhelpful in genuine cases like mine. A secure system should also support legitimate users in regaining access—not trap them in endless automated loops.

I strongly urge Epic Games to:

Provide clearer reasons for rejection
Allow escalation to a human specialist
Introduce a secure manual verification or call-based option

Until then, this has been one of the most frustrating support experiences I’ve faced.

I had the best rank I started to have fun me and all my friends would play everyday until today when epic chose to remove reload I lost all my rank I was champ btw and I played so much for that the new map sucks and the elit 123 and champ 123 was a horrible choice for reload it was enough for battle royal the reload map was so much better before what are we doing epic it’s like ur trying to make it worse

Epic Games' support is worse than Ubisoft's! Forget about this ridiculous attempt to recover my Epic Games account! I will never create an Epic Games account again. The customer loses money because they don't make an effort to solve the problem and help, which shows that they are not a serious company! I compiled several messages you sent me saying you couldn't do anything and posted them on various social media platforms (gamer groups and pages and consumer rights complaint sites) so everyone can see how terrible your support is. You are one of the worst game companies I have ever seen. GOG Games solved my problem using the same email address; they asked for the data, which I provided, and I can prove they obtained my old account if you think I'm lying! Even so, their data is easier to obtain. Your intelligence service is amateurish! I will continue using Steam (the best site currently) and GOG. A support team that doesn't bother to understand that a customer can't get past the second recovery step because an ERROR MESSAGE ALWAYS appears is a bad company that doesn't know how to solve problems in accidental situations. WHICH IS NOT MY FAULT, BUT RATHER THE EPIC GAMES SERVER! On my first attempt, I even managed to get past the second step, which proves that the problem is in your infrastructure. Terrible and lazy when it comes to helping. In short, if you lose your account and ask Epic Games support for help, they tell customers to GIVE UP. I've posted my case in several places, now you'll see what you're really like! I also filed a complaint on two complaint websites, go there now and respond!!!! Try to explain yourselves now with everyone watching!!

Don't send me any more repeated messages saying you're incompetent! Only Steam and GOG have excellent support. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM EPIC GAMES!!!

Absolutely horrible support my account had been hacked over a year ago, I told every single piece of information they need to know I'm using the same network I'm on the same IP address and I still couldn't get my account back they really don't believe it's mine even when I showed them like all the purchases I have made. Everything.

I had problem with my computer to where I had to do a complete reset. Upon completing the reset, I was trying recover my Epic Games account. I have reset the password made several attempts to recover the account only to have Epic Games block me. I cannot recover my account or play the games that I purchase. Epic games does not care about its customer. This is company just wants money and does care the purchases made by the customer. Epic Games you Suck!!!!!

About 2-3 years ago my Fortnite account that I first created in chapter one season 3 on the good old ps4 was hacked. I immediately contacted Epic Games, but obviously along with me and thousands of other people. Epic Games was no help. No matter how much evidence (receipts, original email, card number) I gave them that it was in fact my account. They said they count recovery my account. Funny thing is the person who hacked me changed the username to Twitter Sealsfn. So whoever that is gfys!

This epic games is a complete bullshit. Someday is working, the other day u must sign in and it doesnt let you...suddenly, when you play a game u bought, it sets you up with a message that u didnt even buy that game u played for lets say two weeks...and dont let me even start with updates...120mb? yeah ur good for an half an hour wait before it updates that... god forbid downloading the whole 50bg game...you reach pension before that LOL...overall disaster.

If I had to give Epic Games, any stars, it would be zero but unfortunately, I can’t do that. Recently, I’ve been on customer service for three days trying to get my original count back. Cause I got skins that I can’t get back. They completely lost my account couldn’t fix the problem and then they told me that I had to start a new account. It was very frustrating and it wasn’t even helpful. The AI assistant when it give me a real person for customer service I am highly disappointed in Epic Games with all the characters I have in my first account they should refund me the whole entire account back, but fortunately they don’t do that. They just go round in circles and customer service. That is ridiculous.

absolute garbage experience, lowest quality platform with ZERO customer support. If you're a paying customer who loses his password, you won't get a reset email, because the system is broken, also there is no actual support, just a useless chat bot. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, YOU WILL LOSE IT ALL.

cant sign in because the verification code system is so dumb and sounds like its been made by a literal child I am never using this crappy awful app to play games

If there were a “0” star option I would choose it. This system is ridiculously confusing. I purchased a $15 gift card for my foster-son at Target. We tried to redeem it for “v bucks”. Both the gift card confirmation and the purchase confirmation were sent to the email associated with the epic games account yet the points were never added into the account when trying to contact customer service, I am linked to a bot chat and can’t even call to speak to a real person. I have spent more than 4- hours trying to figure this out and it is not user-friendly whatsoever, there is no actual customer service and I wasted $15. Don’t waste your time or money with dealing with an epic games account or you’ll be disappointed.

My experience with Epic Games.
I installed the Epic Games launcher. I bought a game. I installed the game. The game wouldn't install and run, no matter what i did. I got no help from the support.
I refunded the game. I deleted my Epic account and deleted the launcher. I went to Steam and bought the game there. :)

So my microsoft account has been hacked so what do you do you unlink the games to get it linked to a new xbox account so thats what I did ive linked it to a new account loaded up and wait ive got nothing because linking the account does nothing for you. Most unhelpfully support team says epic games cant help with items cosmetics or ranks so does someone else run the game and controll them? Like shouldn't I keep them when ive linked my EPIC GAMES ACCOUNT yk the account with the items in. Honestly useless then telling me to contact microsoft the same company thats ran by ai who also dont listen or help with no human in sight awfull company's that dont care about the player base or pay for it to run.

The worst customer support ever for a game they don't provide any help and immediately reject every ticket you submit. I think Disney would be doing a great thing by buying it and improving it. It's absolutely terrible.
