The gym is great and the staff are very friendly! The only thing I’d change is making sure all of the showers work properly and maybe adding a hip thrust machine if they could find the space. But overall, a very lovely gym.

The gym lost its quality and was poorly maintained.

The broken straps have just been patched up with a knot rather than being replaced, and there are no longer any wipes or other type of sanitising solution to use before and after each use.

When I use the machine, I have to screw the nuts and bolts in more tightly since they are loose.

Great experience for working out and always helpful staff!

More equipment, more space, more staff

An amazing gym. The staff are really helpful and greet you when you enter the gym. Great equipment and very clean

Cons:

The staff. The reason I didn't give it one star is because there's one or two staff members aka the girls who are nice, polite with a smile on their face. The grumpy old man always wearing the hat though? All he does is eye up everyone (for no apparent reason) and then go round confronting members if they make a bit of a sound and telling them they'll have to pay for equipment. Always has a dirty look on his face.

Secondly, the toilets absolutely stink. Now I've seen staff clean it I think but the stench has been there for ages. It's so hard to use. The changing rooms are awkward because it's mixed men and women together.

The water cooler got repaired after 4 weeks.

The gym itself is quite small and not got the best variety of equipment which is fine and still doable but when there's a whole host of other problems and it does become an issue.

Pros:
Has the bare minimum required for a workout

Overall:
Wouldn't recommend. Old man needs to be tought how to talk to people. Goes round interrupting workouts and giving people dirty like a headless chicken. Arguably the worst gym I've been to and perhaps people who think this is a good gym haven't ever been to another one.

Brilliant atmosphere with the most welcoming team of staff!

Very friendly atmosphere, good size, good equipment, didnt feel judged when inside. Just need more Metallica songs on the playlist and maybe a bit of slipknot too 😉

Just the type of gym I was looking for. It is walking distance for me, the equipment is fine and during the hours I need to use the gym it's quiet. The staff seem friendly and the owner has been helpful with advice on using some of the equipment I'm not familiar with. Cost is also competitive.

Great gym, love the atmosphere there and the equipment. Would be perfect if there were mirrors in the studio, a decline bench (easier hip thrusts for short people), and a hyperextension bench.

Very impressed with how the gym are helping me with my sport specific goals. I have also gotten over some gym nerves by coming here too; can highly recommend énergie fitness LC to anyone!

Staff are very friendly and helpful, make you feel at ease.

I do appear to go when busy, so find it difficult to get a locker, most not having a lock on.

No issue with aerobic equipment, getting use to weights equipment. Good area for abs work, along with fitball. Would like to have a medicine ball, the weight balls have at the moment are too heavy.

Find difficult using unisex showers/toilets, but I get by.

I joined the Gym about a month ago. I'd never set foot in a gym before. The staff were great. They showed me round, talked me through everything.
I decided to join and I've never looked back. I can honestly say I really enjoy going to the gym. I'm 56 years old and I feel great.
The gym is kept clean and tidy. Staff helpful and friendly.

New to the gym.. all abilities.. love that the equipment is for everyone to use.. looking forward to trying the classes
