I was exposed to this through Instagram, where the messaging is consistent: go from burnout and stress to financial freedom, working just a few hours a day.

After following a few profiles, I was contacted in DMs. The conversation quickly shifted toward them having a “solution” tailored to my goals. To understand the business model and opportunities, I was told I had to pay for access first. I paid around $100.

Inside, the content focused heavily on mindset and getting me to map out my fears, goals, and pain points. From a business and marketing perspective, this felt like information that could be used to sell me further.

Only at the very end did it become clear what this actually was.

The “business” is selling high-priced water machines from Enagic (Kangen). To participate, you are expected to buy in yourself, typically around $8,000 for one machine, or up to $18,000–$20,000 for larger packages. You need to purchase in order to become a seller.

I was also pulled into a large community called “Become the Change,” where there is constant posting about new buyers, sales, and rank progression. It creates a strong sense of momentum and success, but also pressure.

From my perspective, this is a model where:
– The dream of freedom is marketed first
– Conversations move into private DMs and closed groups
– Emotional triggers like burnout, motherhood, and financial stress are used
– The actual cost and structure are revealed late
– The financial risk is placed on the individual buying in

A Norwegian business newspaper (Dagens Næringsliv) has also investigated this model and describes a similar pattern, including people being encouraged in some cases to finance these purchases through loans.

I am not saying no one makes money. Some do. But what is shown publicly are the top results, not the broader reality.

For me, this raised too many red flags, and I chose to walk away.

My advice: be very cautious. Do your own research, understand the full cost, and ask who is actually taking the risk before getting involved.

In love with Enagic, the water has changed my life. And me and my family have better health than ever before.

The business compansition is the best. And now i can love a life i’ll could just dream about before.

Enagic is a trustworthy company.

They converted my sister from another grandmother into a trafficking slave, my mother an MLM recruiter, and me, the 270th coming of Jesus Christ.

In all seriousness, the more I read about this company, the harder it is to consider it trustworthy at any capacity. I'm only making it 2-stars instead of 1-star because the reviews on this company are either or, which should tell you about the dichotomy between trusting Enagic and Enagic is a scam. If you're reading this, treat it as a 1-star review.

Everyone who has given this product five stars is still in the cult and desperate to sell their first product. Everyone who states that the Enagic community has given them support, laughter and fulfilment is just starting to work out that they have lost at least $5000 on a product that produces water with no benefits over tap water. Before you get involved google "Enagic income disclosure statement" and see how 99.4% of people in this cult earn under $1800 a year trying to sell this product. I wanted to improve my life and all this water ioniser did was put me into more debt.

10/10 Enagic have changed my life! Incredible company that truly cares and the service is next level quality as well!

Absolute scam. The people at the top are obviously trying to get all their downline to write 5 star reviews again. There are some today that have written four five star reviews on Enagic on the same profile.
Just Google the Enagic income disclosure statement then look at the median amount earnt and look at how high up you have to be to make a liveable wage. This business model is a scam and you will end up losing all your money to it just like the majority that start, work hard for years then are only left with debt and ‘have a better mindset comments’. Having been inside this toxic cult and spoken to so many people from all over the world, I can tell you they are all the same.

This business has changed my entire life.. from my mindset to my health and everything in-between. I'm so grateful for the products and the incredible business that comes with them.

First of all...the water decreased my son's migraines about 80 %, completely eradicated the small aches and pains post workout in this aging body, significantly improved my friend's 14 year old dog's energy and bowel movements, and improved my Aunt"s skin issues for which nothing else was helping. That's just a few things. I believe the research I've seen regarding more serious conditions and am committed to as clean and preventative a lifestyle as I can live for me and my boys. So, I bought a K8 and an Anespa. I would have even if I didnt give the business a go and haven't regretted it once.

I've been an entrepreneur for 20 years. Im a licensed therapist. I know what it's like to build a business. MLM's do not require less work than any other business to be successful. But they do have things other models don't. They have systems, supports, marketing resources, community and self growth focus that all support your success. Support, not create. You get out what you put in. It's not easy but in many ways, easier than other models and it's a product you can feel good promoting if health and reducing plastics matter to you.

And yes, you have to buy filters and maintain your investment as you do with any investment. My car gets oil changes and new tires. 20+ years, various waters that replace other products...do the math...still cost effective if you are using them. Peace of mind that comes from eliminating so many toxins from the water to cleaning...worth every penny to me.

Enagic is a company of compassion and support. Not only does it have the best products to promote health and wellness, Enagic also has several options available to help everyone buy their products. Every home should have them.

Best decision I ever made getting started with this company! The products are legit and have done sooo much good for my health. The compensation plan doesn’t lie and in 4 years here I’ve made multiple 6 figures. It didn’t happen overnight - I had a lot of skills to learn as this was completely new for me compared to my background, but I stuck with it and it’s been sooo worth it. It sounds cliche but it genuinely has completely changed my life.

And to everyone reading these reviews, I read lots of reviews and opinions before I started as well. Some positive, some negative. But what I couldn’t shake was that the people who left positive reviews were genuinely sooo happy in their life. And they had genuine personal experience here over months and years. And if it was working for all of them, why couldn’t it work for me? I didn’t ignore the negative comments; I approached the whole package with a “what’s the worst that could happen?” mentality. And rationalized that even if I never made a cent from this company, I’d absolutely improve my health, be surrounded by a wonderful supportive encouraging community who were genuinely so excited about life, get to travel to events, learn the skills of building a business, brand, marketing and sales skills, and all the tax write offs as well. I decided that even worst case scenario was way better than the current situation I was in. So I went all in. Best decision ever :)

Such brilliant products that we now cannot go without. Cannot go wrong creating a low-tox living environment for our family.

If you’re thinking about joining Enagic, stop and do your homework first.
The shiny promises of “financial freedom,” constant travel and a stress-free lifestyle are marketing fantasies…. not reality.

Before you buy anything, watch the ABC News coverage on Enagic.
Then do one more thing they never want you to do: Google the Enagic Income Disclosure Statement.
Look at the actual numbers.
Compare them to what the recruiters tell you.
The truth is right there.

And don’t fall for the classic line:
“Our team is different. Our country is different. Our community is different.”
No.
Every country, every community, every “special team” uses the same script.
They’ll swear they’re the exception but that’s just part of the pitch. Also they will try and manipulate you by saying you don’t understand the income disclosure statement (they are gaslighting you)

After seeing how all of this works, this is an easy and absolute 1 star from me.
Protect your money. Do your research.
The reps who have rated enagic 5 star have all had to invest up to like 17k in this business so they have to leave all the good reviews on their own business. They also write several reviews on the same trust pilot account to try and recruit you.
