Emerald Group - Dan Freeman

I had a great experience working with Dan Freeman. He was clear, efficient, and diligent throughout the process, which ultimately led to me receiving an offer. I’d thoroughly recommend both him and Emerald’s services, and I hope to work with him again in the future.

I applied for a role in recruitment

I applied for a role in recruitment, which i have 12 years experience in. Rejected not long after. This was the 2nd time it was advertised. Not very experienced from the sounds of it. Very poor company.

Communication

I applied for a new role being advertised by The Emerald Group via Reed.co.uk on March 14th 2019, twelve days passed and I hadn't heard anything, although I do find this very rude and un-professional I can appreciate that recruiters are generally very busy and therefore aren't necessarily able to acknowledge each and every potential candidate, and as I felt that I was genuinely ideally suited to the particular role in question I decided to drop them a line, they in-turn responded advising the position had been filled (although the advertisement was still at that time listed as active on Reed.co.uk), I then replied asking for feedback as to why I hadn't been considered for future reference and was basically informed I hadn't applied soon enough "the role has actually been offered to a candidate who applied when it was first advertised back in January", I checked the listing on Reed.co.uk, the advertisement was submitted by The Emerald Group on March 13th 2019. Get yourselves properly organised guys, really poor experience.
