I signed up because it’s rated as one of the top sites which has low scams. I signed up last 8 April 2026 then requested to cancel my subscription in less than 24 hrs. They charged me an additional £49.05 on my cc though it was not stated on their cancellation policy nor have seen it on the terms as I was signing up. The customer service is impossible.

This website does better than match at keeping out the scammers but the lack of singles on here leaves much to be desired

I have been on eharmony for almost 6…
I have been on eharmony for almost 6 months with a top tier premium membership which means I am supposed to be able to view all my matches. Not true. After months of only getting 2-3 matches a week that were mostly inactive or removed for violations before I even clicked on their profile, i am getting several being sent now as I am one week away from my membership expiring. I am not renewing. I have had 3 men contact me this week. One guy lived in a travel trailer (i'm not looking for that lifestyle as i'm only 60, he was also fat and ugly. Another one with 6 pictures of his face which was fat and with mouth closed smile, ballcap on, etc. He was living off his dead wife's pension and social security, and needed to see his house and give half of it to his wife's kids as she didnt have a will so her name was still on the houst. He had little equity in the house so this guy basicaly had nothing. He kept asking me for more pictures although I have 8 picture , plenty of full body and all where he has 6 identical pictures of his fat face. When I asked him to please post a full body picture and one without the ballcap and with a smile, he said "goodbye' to me. Then I got another man message me and tell me off for being on this dating site because he contacted me last summer on another site and I had just started a relationship at that time and told him so. Now he jumped all over me for lying to him and said that shows the kind of woman I am. And he said good luck on yet another dating site. What kind of unstable person attacks a woman they have never met on a dating site because he thinks she lied to him? and when the relationship I was in ended, I guess he expected me to contact him? What a crazy nut so in 3 weeks 3 undesirable men where matched with me.
This is the worst
This is the worst , absolute worst dating site. I wish I had read reviews before I signed up for the minimum (3 months).
I knew in 3 days that this platform was not going to work. I don’t think they have very many users. I kept getting matches , and very few of them, from out of state . When I emailed them they suggested I widen my net. I did try that but still
Got very few matches. I do not wish to date anyone long distance. They refuse to cancel my account even tho I used it for one week and closed it. I have spoken w others who have had similar experiences. WORST DATING PLATFORM EVER!bumble and match have many many quality choices.
It's easy to contact prospective matches
It's easy to reach out to other members to chat on-line. And if that goes well we can exchange phone numbers.
The profile questionnaires are fairly thorough, which makes it easier to determine if I want to connect with another member to chat.
This company threatens you with collection when you try to cancel!!!!
This company is not interested in matching you with a partner, only in matching your dollars with their bank account.
I signed up for one year subscription on a 4 payment plan, it was obvious in the 1st month that not only their "amazing algorithm" was only matching me with ppl over 100 miles away, those matches were NOTHING near what I like or want, so, I decided to cancel my membership.
I paid for 25% of the year on my 1st payment = 3 months, but only use one, I am not looking for a refund, as I should. But instead this company is threatening me to send the balance to collection! STAY AWAY!
Dont waste your money or time with them!!!!
Their customer service is junk, as well their algorithm!

If you are in a very populated area I'm sure this site is good, but they would not let me browse profiles in my area before I gave them my credit card, now there is no one in my area and they are refusing to cancel my membership, and the charge was supposed to be $24 a month I'm being charged $140 every 3 months I cannot afford this I think this is a scam to steal people's money.

The profiles and photos are just what a person needs to start to learn about a possible partner. Knowing how far away a person lives is also a big help.
Very Nice Friendly Site
I went through their 3000 questionnaire…
I went through their 3000 questionnaire set up for my acceptance as a potential dating partner. Once you get through it, they show you about 10 potential partners but you can’t see them or talk to them without paying the premium membership fee which is roughly $250 a year which they want in four months installments. Once I paid that I was able to see 12 women. None of them were in my area and I could see no other women that I could look at. If I paid more money, they would give me more women to look at. However, it would not matter because they were not geographically close to me. I contacted customer support the very next day and wanted my money back because they have a 36 hour moneyback guarantee. But they refused to honor it and told me they will continue to take my money out the next four months and would keep it. So I would recommend nobody touch this gigantic nationwide scam. It will cost you $250 to get 10 or 12 women to look at and another $250 to get other women to look at. There are additional charges for unconditional chat. Also, the first woman that contacted me was a hooker online dating in general is a scam. Eharmony is a very highly financed scam. Don’t worry about their moneyback guarantee. They don’t follow it. They will cancel your account, but they will keep your money.

Zero stars
Long story short, I signed up for a three month trial and canceled after a few weeks because there is no one on the site anywhere near my geographic area. I live in a major city, so this is very surprising. But now I know why… They will threaten you with legal action if you don’t pay for the full subscription, despite multiple emails stating I no longer wish to be a member. I was charged the first installment of the subscription, which is fine. But you threatened me with legal action because I no longer want to be a member, I have repeatedly said so in writing and told them specifically I do not wish to be charged for a service that is terrible? This is Ludacris and I can’t believe they’re in business.
