EFFY, IF I COULD GIVE THEM LESS TAN A ONE I WOULD

If I could give less than a one I would. Purchased several rings while on a cruise, spending a considerable amount of money. 2 were in NY so I only saw pictures. Rings needed sizing so was told it would take approx 6 weeks. I asked if I did not like the rings if I could return them. I was told, not only could I return them but had 30 days.

FINALLY received first ring April 18 (cruise was in February). Did not like ring and contacted Effy to return. 1) I have never seen such BAD customer service. Got conflicting info, depending on who you spoke to and the process was very confusing. First told I could not return ring because it was more than 30 days. After CONTINUED efforts on my part received a return label but was told because I paid part of the money by a process called deferred payment (used a credit card) I would not receive this amount back.
I requested the return label the day after I received it(never wore) and sent back the same day received label.

Was told the deposit (very SUBSTANTIAL amount ) was not refundable because goes to celebrity cruise line. I returned a ring I did not receive or see for after 2 months from purchase ( with effy from purchase until receipt) , never wore, asked if I could return when purchased because could not see and effy refuse to return over $5,000. My deal was with effy, celebrity did not have anything to do with me purchasing the ring from effy. This agreement effy has with celebrity is unconscionable, and greed. I would understand if ther is some fee, but the amount here is riduculous. I will not buy anything else from effy or sail on celebrity again.

I want to make sure others know of this policy. They will take your money for doing nothing. DO BE CAREFUL WHEN BUYING FROM THESE PEOPLE. YOU MAY LOOSE YOUR MONEY FOR DEALING WITH THEM.

Lies, Lies, and more lies!

Purchased 3 matching Bracelets at Effy in Cozumel. Once I went back on the ship, ads popped up for the bracelet in my feed for a lower price. I immediately contacted, and was told no problem, send us your receipt and will refund the difference. I screenshot the difference in price as if I was going to buy again. I sent in receipts, however, this company went as far as made up fake receipts with my name on it with a different price and sent it back with a no price adjustment necessary. As if I don’t have my own receipts! I been trying to get this escalated and still working on it but if a company will send a long time customer a fake receipt what else is fake, you can decide? Effy can not be trusted!

They have stolen from me

Worst company ever! HAS taken my jewelry and could fix it or replace it. I have not been issued a refund. This has been going on since January.

After 11 days I learned that the warranty is garbage

I bought diamond stud earrings for my wife in Cozumel while on a Royal Caribbean cruise. The ship had two ladies who talked up different things to see at the port in Cozumel. They assured us that Effy Jewelry was the best place to go to buy jewelry in Cozumel. We were assured that Effy was trustworthy and would give us the best deal, because Royal Caribbean had already made arrangements for them to treat its passengers special.

In the store, the salesman told me that the earrings had a warranty which included replacement if lost. The earrings seemed to be a decent price, and they were beautiful, so I bought them for my wife.

My wife got to enjoy these earrings from Valentine's Day until February 25th. The back came loose in 11 days, and the earring fell out. Our massage therapist found the back of the earring in his room the next morning, but the diamond stud was nowhere to be found.

I checked the receipt to find out how to claim the warranty coverage and noticed the receipt said, "The written information and policy front and back herein, supercedes and nullifies any prior agreements, written or verbal, made between you and any member of the sales staff." Of course the assertion by the salesman of a warranty covering against losses was a lie.

I contacted Effy to assert that the back failed due to a defect. 11 days is way too fast for an earring back to come loose if there wasn't a defect. I had to send several emails to get them to acknowledge my complaint about the earring back failing. When they finally responded, I was told that if the earring is lost they will not replace it, and the failure of the earring back would only qualify me for a new earring back. It is irrelevant to them that the earring was lost due to the failure of the earring back.

Effy also told me that they would not replace a center stone if it falls out. The warranty is useless. The reliability of the jewelry is poor. The customer service is substandard.

I advise that people avoid this jeweler especially when you are out of the country. They are not to be trusted. Royal Caribbean may not be the best partner when it comes to in-port shopping as well.

Buy your jewelry somewhere where you can return to the store with any problems.

Bad experience

My sister, a friend and I purchased three 93) necklaces that were claimed to be "14K Gold" and mine tarnished, My sister didn't wear hers much and my friend bought the only one that was 14K. I spoke with EFFY back in Dec/Jan and they said they will give us a credit voucher to get something else, we just needed to send the items back. Well, none of us trusted anything anymore, so I sent all three (3) back to them.
The package was received by them on 2/4/26 with the promise that they will reach out to me with the next update. Total crickets since then. I wrote again asking about the credit voucher and I received the automated,
"thank you for reaching out to us. We will respond as soon as we can."
I have no idea what is going on, they are not responding and have the necklaces and have not given me the credit yet. I used to be very loyal to EFFY as they were a great jeweler when they first showed up on the scene but now they have turned into a greed based factory with untrained staff and high stress sales people selling wares that are not priced properly for their quality or metal/stone weight and the daily markets. They got too big too fast and now they are producing many items that seem to be flimsy. I have some of their past pieces and they are spectacular. Not so much anymore. I really hope I receive my credit soon as this is edging onto the ridiculous.

Great customer service

We went on an MSC cruise Seashore 2/8-2/12. Andrii at the Effy store on the ship was beyond amazing. He went above and beyond to find my earrings I wanted and shipped to me. I have been an Effy customer for a while. My husband then purchased me a tanzanite bracelet in the Effy store in Nassau. People like that make me loyal to the brand.

Baguette fell off ring in 4 days

I purchases created diamonds with baguettes on the side. I spent a lot of money on this on a Norwegian cruise line sky ship. 2 days after I got home , one of the baguettes was missing. This should not happen to a quality piece.
Waiting to hear from customer service.

Gold turned black

I brought earrings around 21 months ago yellow diamond in gold. I've worn them permanently for about a year cost was $1600 i took a ear infection around the earrings when i took them out the gold had turned black. I sent them to effy in England after weeks of messaging to head office. After 2 months they sent them back in the same packaging they sent them back the same way id sent them. Head office message lie after lie then told me to post them to head office but I had to pay customs etc and I might not get them back i asked them to confirm the address they never replied they also kept asking for customs and tax receipts from the u.k the customs told me i didnt have to declare them as I was in u.k waters when I brought them. But they said I had to have this for u.s customs or i may not get them back
So im left with these earrings no better off sent email to N.C.L never heard back. DONT BUY ANYTHING CHEAP DEFECTIVE JUNK.

EFFY said bracelet 14K. Liars.

Bought a bracelet in port while cruising. Sales associate said it was 14K gold. Received email receipt once home. It’s gold plated. I WAS LIED TO. I assume they believe they can get away with this.

Gift was for my niece who is allergic to trash metals. She gave it to her cousin and I bought her a real 14K butterfly bracelet for $180 less. Have been going in circles with EFFY “customer service.” Must be an AI bot as responses never address the issue.

DO NOT EVER buy anything from this company who lies about a product. Shameful.

Would give it zero stars if I could

Would give it zero stars if I could.

Bought a halo diamond ring on am NCL cruise. Spent $2,000. It needed resizing but our last port stop was cancelled because of the weather and so it couldn't be done before we disembarked. I was given a $50 discount to have the ring resized myself when I got home. This I did using a reputable jeweller in the UK. Several of the tiny halo diamonds have fallen out over the last 12 months. Yesterday I got the ring back after yet another repair and today, low and behold, a different stone in a different place on the ring has fallen out. It's never ending. In total, I've only worn the ring for about 8 days out of just over 12 months because of stones falling out. Avoid this company unless you are absolutely sure about the quality of the workmanship. Don't fall for the hype, especially on board a cruise ship. No doubt Effy will say I'm out of warranty because I didn't use an Effy store to resize etc. Hard lesson learned and I won't be purchasing anything from them again. I know I'm out of warranty, but I stand by my claim that Effy craftsmanship cannot possibly be as good as they claim.

Do not buy from the Cruise ship stores

Do not buy from the Cruise ship stores. Over priced and poor quality. Lab grown diamond vastly over priced and the mined diamond poor quality. After 5 months the ring lost one of the diamonds. I appreciate they are showcasing on the ship to people with lots of money who probably don't do their research. I don't have lots of money and unfortunately I did not do my research, and I can blame no one but myself. After weeks of communication with customer service in the US I am resigned to the fact that I can only have the ring repaired if I post (at my cost and my cost to insure) to London. Not the customer service I expect after spending what is "a lot of money to me" Ensure you do your research on lab grown diamonds before you buy from them - especially on the cruise ships.

I just got off the Celebrity Ascent

I just got off the Celebrity Ascent, the Effy sales staff was absolutely the weakest link. They were relentless. They made browsing impossible, waiting outside the store ready to harass by passers. I know they work on commissions but high pressure sales tactics never work.

I had called them and they were very nice and answered all my questions , and I literally got it the next day. I've wanted this ring for the longest time.And I guess it was on sale , and I bought it , and it is absolutely gorgeous. It looks better than the picture is absolutely amazing.Exactly what I needed.I highly recommend this place

Love the discounts and Final Sale…

Love the discounts and Final Sale pricing, as fine jewelry is so expensive today. Also love the fact that everything arrives in 3-4 days. I have bought several bracelets and necklaces this year, and EFFY has become my favorite jewelry brand. Everything is high ed, yet easy to layer and wear.

Amazing Effy Panther

My item was out of stock online, so I sent an online request to be notified if the item return to stock. Once the item was back in stock, I was informed, sent an estimate and also an online invoice to purchase the item. Everything with great with the purchase and in a few days my item arrived, and I'm amazed at the beauty of my Effy Panther.
