Just selling an article on eBay.

Article sold for £8. eBay calculate the postage as
£2-70. They will get a cut of this from Yodel. They then take 12-8% of this figure from me for doing nothing so sending the item has already cost me money. Then they charge 12-8% on the selling price plus 30p for god knows what.

So of the £10-70 the buyer pays I get £6-33.

Is it worth it?

Website is not up to date. The fees calculations are wrong for the UK. eBay has removed final value fees for private seller but this website didn't bother updating their calculator accordingly.

This calculator is an absolute mile off! I've had to re-price most of my listings as every time I make a sale I'm losing money!

Very accurate, I do e-commerce full time on eBay and this really helps me look at how much do I have to make per item in order to reach a certain range a year.

Very easy to use. You can work profit out very quickly.

Great little website. I was thinking of listing a high value item on ebay (£375) but concerned about the potential fees that eBay would charge. Wow, I was shocked to discover that they would take almost £70

It took no longer than 1 minute to input the required details and come up with an answer, in fact the answer was dynamic, if I tweaked the figures, the answer was automatically amended.

I took the trouble to message the owner and make a small suggestion and got an answer within 30 minutes. Highly recommended for any eBay seller.

We've been using this calculator on a daily basis for a long while now and I must say its absolutely brilliant.

As a business seller it can be very frustrating sometimes when trying to work out profits and losses in conjunction with VAT return but this calculator makes our lives very easy and with the integration of the "Verify My Age" feature, that is very clever!

I don't think this ebay calculator by this "flyp" company is good. It's because I checked my fees on ebay and they don't match up at all. The rates this calculator says it uses doesn't even match up with what ebay says they use.

I can understand if it was just a little off, but it's like completely wrong. It's miles off. I thought I had large margins but I lost money on sales because of this! I should have never blindly trusted the first thing shown on google.

When I tried contacting them, they swore at me and told me to go away! Like what?
