I tatiana Nadeidinskaia traded trough ebay for sometime, did a few orders there and was satisfied with the outcome.
Something happened when I was ordering at a user of ebay, next Day everything was erased from my account, sellers and order numbers.
Reaching out to ebay customer service, at first they couldnt see whats going on and solve the problem.
At last a tecnician solved it.
Weirdly enough, an order was made in My name, but not by me.
It occured that the last seller I had contactwith had overtaken My account, how he did it I dont know, but he used My money to buy something. Fortunately my Credit card was closed right after his first purchase.
The previous 4 orders Are still missing Even when paid for, and money cant be refunded because of New Credit card.
Please be careful with Who you order trough, check Them before ordering.

I have been a loyal Ebay supporter since the beginning.I annually spend thousands of pounds a year. This week I complained that an items never arrived. Ebay didn't help me at all and I am out of pocket with nothing to show for it. R.I.P ebay.

Its not possible to buy an item. All the time I get some message about limits. And its not pissible to get contacton somebody who can help.

Ebay do not support their sellers anymore. Buyers lie about whatever you are selling to them to get their money back. They waste your time with questions about your item, asking for additional photos etc then when they receive it they say that’s not what I ordered and request a refund. The only way to overcome this problem is for sellers to close their account down and move to Amazon. Please avoid Ebay at all costs and move your business to a better site. You have been warned!

Awfull No idea according to status, parcels, sending same answer 3times Wonder if its chatbots Who is reacting? Going to competitor instead.

ebay is just a dump.
"customer service" does not exist - you cannot get in contact - never available.
Just fix up ideas and list you as they want.

This review relates to the eBay global shipping service. I ordered an item on 26 Nov 2019 (a laptop motherboard that I needed urgently). The UK seller shipped immediately and the item was shown as received at the Global Shipping Centre (GSC) on 28 Nov. The item remained stuck within the GSC in the UK until 3 Jan 2020!!, when it was finally shipped out for Denmark, arriving 5 days later (the estimated deliver was 7-12 December). When I asked the seller to check with eBay (early on), they told him it was coming on or by 12 December. They had no idea and checked nothing. I will NEVER order an item with the GSC again. I will only order UK items that are explicitly shipped with the Royal Mail service. Amazon can deliver in about 4 days, but the eBay shipping service takes about 6 weeks!?

Ebay feedback system is u/less, it looks good with ebayers 100% positive. What people don't know is that if you challenge bad feedback they cancel it rendering the process u/less. I had noticed this before but recently left bad feedback for faulty goods only to find it gone within hour. Ebay made no contact with me the buyer to obtain/check the facts. In my opinion ebay is only interested in one thing making money for themselves, it is not in their interest to slow or stop trading on their site so they turn a blind eye to cheats. The same I would apply to fake stuff in my opinion must stuff on ebay is fake! but they are not interested because they get their cut. I buy very little on ebay now I have gone back to the high st at least you can trust them and get your rights, not the case with ebay in my opinion

This review is to make Buyers aware of Ebay's complaint system.

There was a misunderstanding with an item I purchased which I thought had gone missing
because when I checked the tracking it said it had been delivered and signed for.

I of course informed the supplier and EBay that I never received it. In the end the item had been
delivered to a click and collect premises. So all's well that ends well.

My warning is because EBay messaged me and said they had checked and because tracking
said it had been delivered to my address and signed for they would not be giving me a refund.

Well EBay couldn't have Checked at all because if they had they would have seen it was delivered
to a click and collect point not my address plus it wouldn't have been my signature.

I have been using EBay for years and have a 100% positive feedback as a buyer and seller.
Which obviously counts for nothing.

It has now put me off buying from EBay.

I was overcharged by eBay on my monthly invoice, nearly £20.00
I’ve been waiting for over a month for a refund back into my PayPal account. I’m constantly assured I’ll have my refund completed but still nothing. I can’t believe how poor their customer service is; how do they get away with making people wait for over a month for a refund? Apparently my refund has now been escalated; I need to wait another 5 days for an update.......
How about I take over a month to pay my invoices?
Update - apparently eBay are doing everything they can in order for the return of my money; they are struggling and it been escalated - 35 days so far.

Excessive fees no rights and absolutely no benefit to using this system !!!!!

Other better platforms out there and this is not one for supporting growth. If your a seller your screwed you have no rights If your a buyer you are king and all rights.

EBay Needs to understand the consumer rights acts applies to buyers as they are eBay’s customers too!!!!!

I am a regular user of eBay, and I am being generous by giving it 4 stars. It has been a rather up and down ride, and I have learnt a lot about the downs of eBay, and how to avoid them. I will use my review to pass on what I have learnt.

Some parts of my experience of eBay have been the utter pitfalls, and really deserve 0 stars, and other parts have been absolutely fantastic and enjoyable and deserve 5 stars, even 6 stars if that is possible on this fine review platform. I have bought nearly 100 things on eBay, so I am not some hack who is moaning about thier one and only negative experience of eBay after having only bought one thing from a dodgy seller.

To all those decent, hard working and honest sellers on eBay, I salute you. I have friends who have eBay stores and I know it is hard work keeping it going.

EBay is amazing if you collect anything. Weather coins or stamps or vintage books or toys eBay is an essential tool to the collector. If you do your research and carefully select your sellers/stores then eBay is pretty much the best. It works extremely well when a buyer and seller communicate with each other and a decent postal service is used, such as the Royal mail. Everything I have bought this way has arrived, on time, no problems whatsoever.

However, and there always seems to be a however, I have learnt the hard way that when eBay uses a third-party in any transaction between buyer and seller, the chances of utter failure increase dramatically. By third-party, I am talking about the eBay Global Shipping Programme and Click & Collect. My advice is to simply avoid the GSP. It really is as bad as everyone says it is. Period. I have noticed that quite a few American sellers have abandoned GSP in the last year. My £135 order from the USA never arrived, despite being " tracked" up to my front door. To be fair, the eBay community and customer services were really helpful and I did manage to get most of my money back (It became clear that the parcel had been nicked/lost by an incompetent courier). However, I voted with my feet and never used the terrible GSP again. I advise anyone to think twice before using it. Its a shame, because if the GPS was efficient, fast, and not a rip off, there is so much stuff available around the world to buy.

Obviously, there are scams/cons/inferior sellers on eBay. Such is the nature of human kind. Its sadly true everywhere, weather the dodgy market stall in your town centre or a to- good- to- be- true item on eBay. Buyers beware! Do your research. Read the feedback from other trusted eBay buyers. Know the true value of what you are buying. Communicate with the seller. Be aware that even with excellent sellers, things sometimes go haywire, and that is the risk you take when buying online.

Hopefully thats good advice and happy shopping on eBay.

I am a bit confused by reviews on here. How can you be negative towards Ebay about deliveries and quality of goods you have bought from individual independent sellers on Ebay? Ebay only facilitates the selling of goods by individual sellers or companies, they don't sell the goods themselves. Now if you want to complain about not getting enough support from their Resolution System that is separate from what people are complaining about on here.

When you buy an item branded with this "covered by money back guarantee" you can find that eBay don't honour that and you end up having bought something from a shady seller and eBay will not help :(

Good service, and cheap delivery

Excellent service and help. Thanks a million for the help Ebay. I dont know why all the negative reviews in here. I had a problem with an item that was never sent with tracking as promised by the seller and I never received the items. And after following the right procedures I got a full refund. So really happy customer here.

Second occasion I've had funds placed on hold, either tell me the reason why eBay or don't do it.

Just cancelled all ( not many) items on sale shall try gumtree, preloved shopify, friday ad and any other I can find

Also first time for 3 years I've made a purchase on Amazon
