easyfundraising is the UK's leading good cause cashback site. Since 2005 we’ve helped raise over £60 million for 190,000 good causes by turning your daily shopping into everyday magic. easyfundraising has partnerships with over 8,000 brands who will donate part of what you spend on their website to a cause of your choice. It won’t cost you any extra: the cost is covered by the brand. Why? Brands pay us a commission because when you start your shop from the easyfundraising website or app, they can see we sent you to them and if you make a purchase, a commission is generated, and we turn that into a donation – magic!

This is the easiest service to use with great support for our fundraising specialist, Rena. There are plenty of templates for social media which can simply be forwarded to your groups or platforms.

I think I am actually done with this app. It just doesn’t work 75%+ of time even when the yellow bar appears and donation is tracked. Final straw is webuyany wriggling their way out of a payment to the charity on this which I will now pay from own pocket. This app needs to improve or just close down as a good idea poorly done.
Update: there doesn’t seem any point in reaching out as requested in the reply, I have done this on other claims, it’s got me no where so think I will save the time. The app doesn’t seem to work unless it is in a browser and even then it is hit or miss on if a payment matches first time. Something genuinely seems to be wrong with this at the moment - fix it and it will be brilliant , and please let me know when you do

Great idea but often the purchases when made through the App don’t result in fundraising being added and you have to claim which takes a long time and is frustrating when you’ve gone to the trouble to purchase through the App for your good causes. I’ve given up using discounts to ensure the donations are made instead (check as if you use vouchers etc or discounts the terms and conditions won’t allow donations) only to find the donation doesn’t show anyway. Such a shame this doesn’t work better.

Easyfundraising generally works very well and I have managed to generate over 400 donations for my chosen small charities in the last 3 or 4 years, so I feel I can comment with experience. In my view top of the list for speed and accuracy of donations are the likes of John Lewis, booking.com, Heathrow parking, Screwfix. One merchant stands out as frustrating, poor and should be avoided in my view. That, surprisingly, is Marks and Spencer. I have made numerous purchases which have failed to generate a donation.
There is clearly a problem as easyfundraising put up a screen reminding you to accept cookies when transferred to the M&S shop page. Of course the page you are taken to ( on a tablet at least) has no mention of cookies! I have searched through the small print on the M&S site many times to find info about cookies and all seem enabled but yet no donations are made. The latest frustrating experience was for a purchase of several hundred pounds in December. No donation yet again! Come on M&S - get your technology in order and don’t make the customer work hard to overcome your system. Perhaps, easyfundraising should just drop M&S until things improve. Wherever possible I choose John Lewis over M&S now as everything is seamless.

The idea is great but the delivery has not been good in our experience. I set this up with my son for an expedition he is going on, hoping this would help his fundraising activity. I have about 8 transactions pending that really aren’t worth the effort to keep chasing . A couple of these are at least two months ago. Also I have booked a big holiday for 2025 and the company say they are querying this with easyfundraising but I’ve had to chase 4 times but this still hasn’t been resolved. What should be an easy execution is actually quite time consuming, with little reward.

I have used easyfundraising for years.Originally as a recipient for my nursery and now as a contributor to a small local animal charity.
I've never had a problem with it and recommend it whenever I can.

I have amended my previous review as the Customer Support team, have been very helpful in trying to sort out the problems I have had with this site.
I still find the platform a bit unpredictable: donations don't always track despite my purchases seeming to tick all the right boxes, and the terms and conditions vary so much from retailer to retailer (that's not Easyfundraising's fault, but it does make using this service quite frustrating). However, Customer Service have always got back to me promptly, making suggestions as to how to improve the efficiency of the process, and I am having more success than I was before. Using Chrome rather than my normal Safari has made a bit of a difference. So I will continue to use EF, as it does raise money for my cause, but won't expect everything to work like clockwork.

Many thanks to the Fundraising Specialist Team, who were very helpful in setting things up for my cause. They were responsive and answered all my many questions quickly and clearly. Promotional material and templates are really useful and easy to modify to how I want to use them. With the teams help, I have also developed an email 'footer' containing all the info/links, so everyone who gets an email also has the chance to click and support. Well done Jess, Luisa, Josh et al.

The Fundraising Specialist Team are a great help.
It all went a bit quiet for a while, we were struggling to get new sign ups and build knowledge, and then out of the blue the fundraising team called to offer lots of help and advice which helped springboard us into further sign ups and getting the word out with handy flyers templates to use. Thank you so much

Luisa and Claire in the fundraising specialist team were super helpful in answering the many questions I had while getting our school set up for the easy fundraising. It was surprisingly easy to get supporters to sign up once they realised it would only take them 2 minutes and the school would benefit straight away. Thank you.

This was such an easy way to raise funds for our charity. I particularly like the aspect of not asking anyone for money in order to raise funds, I have never felt comfortable begging for cash, so this suits me very well. I love in a rural location where pretty much everyone shops online. The process was very easy with lots of help and backup from the easy fundraiser team. The only thing I would love to see added is donations from Amazon to charities...... COME ON AMAZON YOU HAVE DEFINITELY LOST MY ORDERS....GET ONBOARD!

We are super pleased with this but the only comment I would say is, after having made Community Champion Managers aware of this in our local stores, Tesco, Morrision's , Boots, Marks & Spencers. They and thier store colleagues don't know anything about this. I understand that this would have been set up by your Marketing department and the 8000 Suppliers you have engaged with but why haven't posters and advertising packs been made available to these suppliers. to utilise, to advertise this fundraising campaign in Store. This would have strengthened your campaign from getting the internal backing from the local stores, their colleagues and customers. How many of them would be educated knowing that this scheme is there and taken back that information their local school, PTA or even signing up on the spot as they know their school is in need.
