Friendly welcoming staff. Reliable and efficient service.
Waited 40 mins to be picked up from the airport then waited another 30 mins at the desk. Car was extremely dirty on the inside and when driving made a horrible sound like there was an issue with the exhaust. There was also an issue with the gearbox.

The car hire company they used were awful. No organization apart from when we took the car back.
We hired a car through easyCar and the whole process was simple and straightforward. They offered a large selection of hire vehicles with various car hire companies at very reasonable prices. They also offer the damage excess insurance at the same time as booking which makes it convenient doing everything together although we did discover later that we could have got the excess insurance considerably cheaper had we bought it when collecting the vehicle, so that would be my only thing to watch out for. That said, the insurance we did take out on the easyCar website was with AXA insurance and as it turned out, we did need to make a claim for some minor damage that we only became aware of on returning the vehicle, resulting in us needing to submit a claim. That whole process also went smoothly, everything was done online and we were paid out in full within a few weeks of submitting our claim. Therefore, based on my experience, I would definitely recommend using easyCar if you want to hire a car, at least in Edinburgh, Scotland, as I cant speak for anywhere else in the world.
Very good price and efficient well trained staff both at collection and drop off.
Legitimate refund refused ongoing!
Despite leaving a terrible review on trust pilot we are still not getting the attention of easycar for a two way conversation.
Repeated emails being sent through to us irrespective of our enquiry.
Do not use this company their behaviour is imorale.

This is first stage picked my car up at lisbon airport and was driving to Algarve. There was a long wait for the car and then the guy on the desk told me I needed extra insurance. I had taken out premium insurance on booking and was stated I did not need any further insurance. The guy got very aggressive towards is and told me the insurance I had taken out was crap and I would loose my deposit he was very rude and aggressive and intimidating. Despite a 10 minute barrage of aggression inc telling me the car would be vandalised i refused to take out the insurance. I presume they are on commission for this but really split it for me and put me on edge
Update i sent e mail as requested and have chased but no response

I was encouraged to check-in early online to fast-track the collection process using a process called ‘Quick Pass’…
At the counter, the Quick Pass button was not working and I had to wait almost an hour to collect the car.
The staff were friendly enough, however the car was not what I ordered and it was in poor condition with visible damage and various minor mechanical faults.
The exterior was covered in dents and scratches and clearly had not been looked after. It made a knocking sound when turning (often a sign of a problem with the suspension or steering column components) and on the last day, when I pressed the boot button, the switch disappeared inside the internal mechanism so I could not open the boot.
We had ordered a Yaris but were upgraded to a MG3 hybrid, which was very efficient and quite spacious. The only down side was that we had to wait in the garage for a while for it to arrive.
Friendly , efficient and clear instructions. Highly recommended.
Service on the day of collecting and dropping off the hired car was very quick which included a last minute upgrade that took no extra time. Car was in great condition and we had no issues throughout the car hire period.
Easy booking, easy & efficient collection, great vehicle.
We rented a car from EasyJet as part of a package, when we arrived in Milan Malpensa we found the rental Co. was in an entirely different terminal with a poor overcrowded bus service. The service at “Italy Car rental” was undermanned and a huge queue, it took us an hr to get there from the other terminal and another 1.5hrs to get our car. We paid for an Intermediate car, luggage space x 4 & passengers x 5 & got a Nissan Juke. We were told take it or leave it. The duke on EJ’s own website is £90 cheaper for the same trip and in a different category but EJ pass this to “Car Trawler”, the service they use, they liaise with the car rental Co. & all refuse point blank to answer my questions adequately or refer the complaint to a manager. We also had high pressure insurance sales at the collection desk insisting our total cover from EJ was inadequate & an attempt to pass a damaged vehicle off as damage free, then claim we had damaged it. Luckily we took photographs of all the damage, and a photo of their own employee being shown the damage before we drove away. This lead to a 1hr delay where they refused to sign off on the car return claiming we had damaged it & then issues for us to make our flight in the other terminal. We also picked the car up with 70% fuel but were expected to return it full, it was another thing they were causing an issue about on return when it was 90% full, again luckily we had a picture of the mileage and tank gauge.
To complain afterward, EJ refuse to get involved, Car Trawler only act as an intermediary between the car rental Co. and renter & neither Car Trawler or EJ are members of the bodies set up to protect renters.
I have now sent approx 10 emails and get a condescending useless response to each that answers nothing, each email ends that they now consider the case closed.
Their own website and my invoice clearly state the car category we ordered & show the car we received is in a lower/smaller category and £90 cheaper but they just avoid answering and fob you off.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Edit
I got a response from EJ far quicker here than anywhere else but unfortunately Omar your email bounced back as not recognised?

I had booked a car via the Easyjet website thinking that this would be a seamless way to obtain a car rental alongside my plane booking. Unfortunately turned out to be anything but that experience. The system automatically set myself as the main driver but I am not allowed to drive in the EU. My wife, is allowed to and she would be driving for the entire trip. My wife and I arrived at the rental desk to pick up the car and was told by the Hertz representative that we could not change the main driver.
We called easycar and was informed that they could not change the main driver either from their system. Easycar is actually known as Cartrawler, which is an agency working in partnership with Easyjet. The call handler Ahmad recommended that we pay the additional driver charge of 90-100 Euros and that we ask for a refund thereafter as this is a common issue. It was late at night and since I had young children, I had no choice but to pay. I made a claim to get the refund and Cartrawler denied the claim saying that it was in their T&Cs. Highly unfair outcome as (i) their system incorrectly had me as the main driver (I cannot drive in the EU) (ii) their system cannot interface with the Hertz system to change as something as basic as a main driver (!) and (iii) their call handler had said that they would refund and now they have reneged on that representation. I will update this review as I progress as I have yet to return the car. Hope that it will be a smooth process but I am now very unsure. Let's see. I have also made a complaint with Easyjet, their partnership with such businesses does matter.
