Left without phone connection for 4 days

Well the phone arrived quickly and the process to purchase and set up was so easy. The deal was also unbeatable. I was very impressed. However I asked for my number to be transferred across using the PAC code at checkout. The day that the number was due to change my line became inactive in the morning. I contacted ID mobile to discuss this who told me the number would be up and running by 6pm. So I’d already spent a day without a phone. Then by 7pm the number was still not working. I contacted ID mobile again who told me they would send me a sim which could take 2-3 days. So now I have no phone connection to make or receive calls or texts and I have no data for possibly 4 days!! ID mobile have said they would take some money off the bill but I need phone access for my daughter in an emergency. I am not happy at all with this although I understand that this is ID mobiles issue not necessarily e2save.

EDIT: within a few hours of writing this review e2save contacted me. Chris was very helpful and the customer service was fantastic. Whilst nothing could be done to alter the situation they took some constructive feedback and offered to pay for a pay as you go sim whilst we awaited the contract sim. This was a gesture they did not need to offer but I was very grateful to speak to someone and for their goodwill. Whilst I haven’t had the best experience I don’t believe that e2save could have done anymore so I stand by my rating but want to emphasise that e2save have been helpful, empathetic and their communication has been great

I placed an order and was happy with…

I placed an order and was happy with the scheduled delivery date. I waited in for the delivery. DPD drove up to my house and then drove away without attempting to deliver the phone. I was so annoyed I then cancelled the order and ID mobile still charged for the time between the order and the cancellation. A very disappointing experience. Both DPD and ID mobile were awful...all arranged by E2save!

The phone arrived quickly , unfortunately I’m still trying to tranfer my number from id to id by having to buy a payg phone . Not sure why this couldn’t of been explained to me when buying from a broker

Oh dear have I made a big mistake..... No I havent

Oh dear have I made a big mistake. I didn't read these reviews (very unlike me). I ordered a phone early Friday evening. It clearly said it was in-stock. I received an email late at night saying they couldn't action it Friday evening (clearly an early finish or busy night). Ok no problem they emailed to say they had processed it next day and it was on its way. Sadly that's were the communication stopped. It's marked as shipped on my account but the person on the live chat this morning told me it hadn't been dispatched yet. They said it was up to me to ring them and find out whether they were a bit too busy to send it out right now. So next day doesn't mean next day and shipped doesn't mean shipped. All the live chats are busy now and I must admit I've not had the hours required to ring them today..... Oh no what have I done ......oh they did take the money on Saturday though. 127804367

Update. The next day I live chatted again. I was told this time that the phone was actually out of stock and not expected until the end of the week. I explained I was going on holiday the end of the week hence my order and wouldn't be at home for delivery they told me that in that case I'd have to choose another phone. Astonished at this I decided to ring them to see if I could cancel everything. The young man I got on the phone was amazing. He then explained that despite the forecast delivery date they now had the phone in stock and appreciated my dilemma of my impending holiday. He convinced me the phone would be delivered the next day. By now my trust was a bit worn but I accepted his reassurance he would definitely get it delivered. All the emails then started including arrangements from DPD and true to his word DPD delivered the phone the very next day. So after a lot of conflicting information I have what I needed my phone. Hopefully the number will transfer as arranged tomorrow.

Poor Customer service incomplete order

I tried to place an order online however the system was not working. I then spent 40min on the phone to sales, only for the phone line to go dead. I rang back and was told that there was no record of the first phone call / order and wr had to start again. I spent another hour placing my order (Google pixel 7 pro witn ear buds. Phone arrived next day with no ear buds. I rang back and was told that they will be in the post. 1 week later still no ear buds. Another phone call and I am told that they were never added to the order (misleading information to fob me off?) I have now been told it will be another 5 days to process the order.

Let's be realistic they are only ear buds BUT why give misleading information? Not great way to treat a new customer

Yes, I’d probably recommend as my wife has exactly the same deal with the same provider, but because I bought through e2save mobiles, my contract is £9 a month less!

Cashback offers are very attractive but........

Cashback offers are very attractive and can definitely save you a lot of money. But not again, particularly e2save. i honestly thank e2save for teaching me a proper lesson. I am sorry e2save for being your customer. What an absolute nightmare! Twice i had serious issues with my cashback. I didn't expect this from e2save. Especially them being a part of carphone warehouse. Sometimes it's not just about asking your one pence back. It's only a penny. But principal and businesses promises matters. I'm waiting for my last cashback since 2 months. After that no more.

Very good deals!

I was knocked back by my existing provider who I had been with for the last five years. I came across e2 when doing a comparison for the iPhone 14. Everything went smoothly, phone arrived two days later than it should as DPD claim they couldn’t find my address, when I live on the main road and 2nd day told me due to their tight schedule they couldn’t deliver but this is no fault of e2save unless others have had the same issue then they should consider finding another courier. Apart from this my only interaction with e2 was an internet sale. I’m yet to port my number and see how their network compares to others but glad they could help me and goodbye to the previous provider.
