Unexpected low-quality UV printing, widest tape shell selection.
Request a test print before placing a full UV printing order.
While they have the widest selection of tape supplies (i.e. shell and case colours, labels, packaging, and printing services) and are pretty friendly, we are all still human and things go awry.
In my case, blurry overspray on UV printed cassette shells. While I did consult their printing department before submitting high-resolution artwork to ensure good quality, I still recieved shells with overly dark colouring and noticable overspray; the final artwork appearing with compression artifacts.
Followed up with customer service to see if something more could have been done on my end, but was told that overspray is normal and was offered 15% off my next order, which dosn't solve the quality control problem.
I usualy get UV printing done with BandCD and other international manufacterers but turned to dupe after overseas rates increased. Will but going back and eating the extra cost to ensure a consistent quality product in the future.
