Despite being labeled as “durable” their pants tear very easily. I don’t do construction or anything heavy, just work at a grocery store and these things tore all over. Customer service is extremely r... See more

Tried to cancel order
Tried to cancel order. No one answers their phone or responds to text bot, or email. Took my money before shipment. No shipment date set.
Dysfunctional company, zero customer service
I’ve tried again to order from this company. As with the last time (approx 1 year ago), my order is accepted, my payment is valid and I’m sent a receipt. Now my order won’t track (not acknowledged as being a valid order), Duluth will not answer their phone, online chat or email to troubleshoot the problem. To say that their customer service is a joke is an overstatement. As far as I’ve experienced, there is no customer service. I’m done with this company.
Surprise ordering
Surprise ordering. As in if and when you get anything you ordered and assumed you might actually receive.
Partial order deliveries and waiting 7-10 days for an original packing notice seem to be acceptable to them. It's not to me.
Not worth it
They will send you the wrong item, ask you to ship it back, then tell you that the item you actually ordered is out of stock. So you'll never get your order and get stuck with shipping chores. Stay away.
Ordered several items
Ordered several items, put in my cart, when I went to check out, several items were missing and other items went back to normal prices.
Bait and switch at its finest…
Horrible
Horrible, deceptive company.they just lie to you when you have a problem and rip you off for there mistakes, they sent me the wrong items and want to charge me for the return instead of sending me the correct order. Incompetent thieves.
Quality sliding, and now the web site has been down for two days.
I used to depend on Duluth Trading for staples like their work pants, jackets, and particularly their mock-turtleneck henleys, which layered great under everything. But over the years, they started canceling a lot of things, or replacing them with really shoddy versions which superficially looked alike and had the same name in the catalog, but which wore out or fell apart almost immediately. And lately it's been a struggle just to get their web site to load. Like half the times I've tried in the last year it's been down, and it's down right now, and as been for more than two days. When I reached out to them, they didn't even know it was offline. They weren't using a web-site-uptime-monitor, and it's a month to Christmas, which should be just about their busiest season.
I love most of their clothes
I love most of their clothes, especially the firehose pants and buck naked undies. Also like the flexibition pants. They have some real glitches to their online ordering which can be frustrating (something appears to be available on sale, but when you try to check out, it isn't - and they never correct it for weeks, so it feels like a bait and switch). I wasn't thrilled with how bad the snaps were on their old version of their dry on the fly shorts. These weren't cheap, even on sale, but became useless when the snap wouldn't stay fastened. They updated these now, but what if you own the old ones? I managed to get a seamstress to sew a button on and put in a button hole, and love the shorts, but this makes me wary. Still, I am a repeat customer because they design women's clothes with REAL pockets and functionality!
I have worn Duluth clothing for years…
I have worn Duluth clothing for years and they are of the highest quality. I love the shirts that have the hidden buttons so that they don't gap at the boobs. I wear them for gardening. I have also purchased the sleeveless gardening shirts and they are favorites. They have excellent customer service. The clothes are very durable. I was very sad when my fire hose pants didn't fit anymore. They are the best for picking berries from my berry bushes. No thorns tearing my skin. Feels like a coat of armor. I'll be buying more items from them. Did I say I love the wallet I purchased from Duluth. I get more compliments on that one. I've returned items that did not fit many times without any problems. So disagreeing with the 1 star people. I give 5 stars.
Very poor customer service, issues online ordering
On the website order page, it showed the color I wanted to buy, so I bought 4 (Christmas presents), then once order went thru, it showed they were all in black- not the color I ordered.
No prob I thought, I've had this happen many times when ordering online, I can cancel the order quick and re-do it, but nope, says the orde can't be changed or canceled.
So still no prob, I'll find the customer service ph# (which took awhile), and I called...and waited on hold for 10 min, and the customer service person told me it could not be changed, or canceled. I'd have to wait till I receivd it, then call back to do an exchange. Pretty sure they won't be on sale anymore....
How does a big company like this not have the ability (or desire) to be customer friendly with ordering online issues? Wish I had read reviews beforehand.
Count me as a "Former" Duluth Trading Co customer!
Can’t order from Australia, international address require a USA Zip code
I think their clothing has some cool features and suppose to be well made, love to try it.
But if you live outside the USA it is impossible to order online because their online web store doesn’t accept international addresses without a valid US zip code.
The problem is a simple to fix their web developer switches off the US zip code validation on international addresses, if the country code isn’t the USA.
They could easily resolve but no amount of correspondence with their customer support team was able to make them understand or resolve. Their suggestion was to phone in my order from Australia.
The other problem with their customer support is you receive a different contact on every reply. You have to reexplain your problem every time if unresolved.
Look I hope they fix the problem of ordering their clothing from other countries and fix their customer service reps. They also should have a contact for problems their customer service team can’t resolve.
Hope they resolve so I can order, I will update my review if they address my complaint.
I have now had two zippers fail in Duluth Mens' Pants.
I have now had two zippers fail in pairs of men's pants that were still in perfect shape. They will not replace or repair them despite the following claim.
"We stand by the craftsmanship and durability of our products. If you are not satisfied with any item you purchase from Duluth Trading, return it for a refund within one year. After one year, we will also consider returns for items that are defective or don’t perform as designed. No Bull means if something goes wrong, we will always treat you right."
I have blue jeans that are 40 years old and the zippers are still working perfectly.
i bought rain gear and live paycheck to…
i bought rain gear and live paycheck to paycheck so i had to save for this purchase. . i paid for it in full one day and the next day they charged me almost 70 bucks again for nothing. they said id get it back. but not for like 5 or 6 days. im sorry i didnt buy from amazon cause this never happens with them. this company was nice enough they just are ok with temporary sctewing paying customers over...
False warranty on leather belt.
I bought their "lifetime" leather belt 8 years ago. They advertise this belt as "the last belt you will ever buy".
They hype it up as a very well made specially designed item that will "last for decades". My belt says "lifetime warranty" stamped on the back. So when they belt started coming apart at the seams I called them about their "lifetime warranty". The representative told me the "lifetime warranty" is "in name only". Which means they just call it a lifetime belt but it's not. They told me "you got 8 years out if it, you should be happy with that". I told them their warranty was deceptive and false advertising. It was BS. She immediatey told me she's could connect me to her supervisor. The supervisor said "the belt is warrantied for life against manufacturing defects but not for wear". They told me to go get it sewn back together at a leather shop. Or send it to them for evaluation. If they decide it's not a manufacturing defect they will notify me and won't send my belt back.
These people are frauds. They use deceptive language but won't back up their claims and hide behind legal jargon to get out of their false advertising. I won't purchase anything from them again.
Really bad online ordering experience
Really bad online ordering experience.
Placed an order that was shipped quickly. Then, their shipping/delivering system had an “exception” and no longer had “control* of the order. Please say “lost.” Multiple emails and tracking time to finally get this determined. I was directed to Duluth to find out more. Emailed them and only gave them a biz day because I needed the items. No response. Next day, tried live chat.. No quick response so I called. ON hold for 20+ minutes, the rep was nice but couldn’t cancel. Needed to warm-transfer me to “John.” Of course, “John’s” mailbox was full because lots of people must have had “exceptions.” So my call was terminated with a cheerful “good-bye.” Tried calling again but it appeared live chat finally did its thing and the order was credited to my account. By my estimation I spent 3 hours trying to locate and cancel. Never again.
They offer limited IDMe discounts, not for nursing
They offer IDMe discounts, but only to first responders and military. This is unusual. So much for “Health Care Hero”. Why not for nurses? Health care workers are always included in IDMe discounts for other retailers. This is a first for me. Maybe they don’t want to offer discounts to WOMEN. I was buying Christmas presents for my husband and sons. Not now! Guess I will spend my girly dollars elsewhere! Thanks so much for enlightening me, Duluth Trading Company.
Online store with issues
My first order: received different item - good one.
Second: canceled due unknown issue.
Last one: no conformation email, no conformation after asked support, and shipped to wrong country.
Update: Items arrived, and it's awesome.
Issue was a label and communication, however items are great.
Love the store in West Chester
Love the store in West Chester, Ohio. Customer services is excellent.
Placed two missing orders from Canada
Placed two orders from Canada, 5 weeks later one order has arrived with $ 40 customs duty owed and they are just now advising me that the second order had an out of stock item so nothing has shipped. Their shipping to Canada takes too long, they want you to wait 15 minutes in the queue if you call in to inquire, and they can't figure out what duty to charge. So no, their mail order performance to Canada is not acceptable and should not be undertaken.
Mediocre clothes, bad return policy
Terrible customer service and mediocre clothing. Don't waste your time or money.
All returns are $8 and the clothes fit weird, so you'll probably want to return them. Also the fabric feels cheap for how much it costs.
