I have had my Dualit Copper Classic kettle for 10 years and its still the best kettle we have ever bought albeit on the more expensive side.
I broke the knob on the top but this was no problem to Dualit a new lid came out the next day. Superb service. Thank you Dualit

Received superb service after contacting Dualit's Customer Services human being answered telephone line. I spoke with Sally who immediately accepted my report of a missing Drip Tray cover on my Pod Machine and immediately posted me the missing component with no cost to me.

Purchased Dualit New Gen toaster July 2024, as with a lot of electrical products two wee ago it packed up, just out of warranty. I contacted Dualit to arrange repair and was surprised when I mentioned it being out of warranty I was told not to worry, they have a 6 month grace period. They supplied a pre paid return label it was away 7 days and returned by courier repaired and working. Excellent product excellent service from an excellent company.

£90 kettle broke after five years. Dualit only repair the classic kettle. Ours was dome. They said 'kettles are only meant to last 3-5 years'. So buy a £10 kettle from Tesco as it'll last the same time and do the same job. Terrible customer service.

I have alot of Dualit products but after my experience with their dreadful downright dangerous Air Fryer and utterly disgraceful so called customer service I will never buy their products again
Bought their Air Fryer from Amazon last year and from day one I knew the handle would eventually break given that the drawer is ridiculously hard to open requiring the pulling force of starting a petrol lawnmower or outboard motor to open
The handle did break away injuring my finger with a sharp piece of plastic in the process
Contacted Dualit they said they would send a replacement drawer when available but none arrived and when I enquired they then said “ we are voiding the warranty because this was an Amazon Resale Item so the 12 month statutory warranty is void”
This is a lie all Amazon Resale Items are opened but unused and are legally covered by the UK Statutory 12 Month Guarantee
I contacted Amazon informing them of the disgraceful behaviour of Dualit Customer Service and they fully refunded me
I have now returned this piece of garbage to Amazon and advised them to categorise this item as dangerous
I will also be reporting this to Trading Standards
I will NEVER!! buy from this disgraceful company ever again
Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to Amazon 0 stars to
Dreadful Dualit
⚠️This Product Is Dangerous ⚠️
This Company Is Absolutely AWFUL!!
AVOID!!! 😡😡😡
UPDATE 30-09-2925
With regard to the disgusting reply below by Dualit the one thing missing is any response or comment from them to the fact that this is a dangerous inherent manufacturing defect ie a virtually impossible to open drawer requiring a ridiculous level of force which has been experienced by numerous other customers that purchased this downright dangerous item
Dualit reply can be judged by what they don’t say rather than what they do say with regard to this rubbish and downright dangerous Air Fryer
Don’t take my word for it go on Amazon and view the negative reviews regarding the ridiculously hard to open drawer
DISGRACEFUL!!!
Avoid This Awful Company & Their Equally Awful Air Fryer 😡😡😡😡

Bought a Dualuit kettle and large toaster some tears ago. Both stopped working, our local repair cafe fixed the toaster but couldn't do the kettle. It just sat, but I decided to spring into action to once again gave the matching kettle.
Just rang. 'That model cannot be repaired.'
I am furious. The only reason I bought such expensive products was because Dualit is known for being sustainable, for being able to repair everything. They should have a large warning notice on such products saying if this stops working, this will hit landfill the same as a cheap product and is unfixable.
Buy a £20 kettle which will look pretty and hit landfill not one costing over £50 from Dualit. There aren't words for how disappointed I am.

I’d expect for the cost of my kettle it should have been constructed of pure gold - lasted 3 years then stopped working …..pretty much told to go away by dualit. Clearly their claims of high quality are just smoke and mirrors. My $5 Kmart kettle lasted longer …
DO NOT BUY DUALIT

We have a $300 kettle that according to Dualit customer service has a service life of 3 to 5 years. We even paid extra for the architect series color panels. The kettle failed after 18 months and Dualit basically said "unlucky" its out of warranty. A $25 kettle from Walmart lasts longer and does the same job - what a waste of money Daulit was.

We bought a kettle and two slice toaster set direct from Dualit, together costing around £400 thinking we were buying well made, UK manufactured reliable products. Oh how wrong we were! Both became faulty within 6 months and reported to Dualit. We asked for an exchange for both considering the short time period, a not unreasonable request we thought but they were not willing to do so. In fact I was told on the phone that if I had bought them from John Lewis instead of direct from them John Lewis would have exchanged them! But not Dualit themselves? Bizarre.
They did offer to repair both but gave us a time frame of 21 days which would have necessitated buying replacements. How ridiculous is that? What would be the point in repairing them in that case?
For the price they are certainly not worth it (although they look great) from a reliability point of view and the poor customer service
UPDATE: we sent an email to Dualit officially complaining and without further prompting they sent us a replacement kettle and a new element for the toaster. Now we have both working so kudos to them for finally sorting this out but I would still recommend avoiding buying from them as the products are obviously unreliable

In space of two weeks we bought and returned a small Dualit lite kettle £54 and Dualit classic toaster £160 from two separate vendors. The Made in Korea kettle issue was a faulty thermostat switch and with the Made in England toaster it was a faulty selector switch. Sad really as the design aesthetics of both is excellent especially the toaster, the toaster is repairable and why I bought it but if the components are substandard therefore it was not a good long term investment.

I bought a Dualit kettle with ‘whisper quiet’ technology which has proved to be the worst kettle I have had in the last 55 years. It is no better than the £10 plastic body kettle I have been using previously, it is extremely heavy, the lid is hard to open and the metal body gets so hot it is dangerous to touch

after being fobbed of before.
Now used the oven top cooker.
Set temperature for 180 went to 210
Set temperature to 220 went to 250.
I thought better of this make. Cheap options far better than this.

Bought a toaster and kettle to replace our old one which was also dualit. Paid £100 per item which was pricey. Toaster won’t toast both sides of bread. Had to send pictures of various types of bread being toasted to dualit. Eventually agreed to courier back. Then they said they tested and worked fine! Won’t refund even though it clearly doesn’t toast both sides. I cannot understand. Have never had this issue with faulty product. Absolute joke.
Update - as Dualit have said themselves. The toaster that costs over £100 cannot toast one slice of bread evenly. So you have to pop it out and turn it and pop it back in. No issue then. Except the £10 toaster with 2 slots doesn’t have this issue 😂

Although I purchased one of their 'Lite' models, at £90 it was still 3-4 times the price of your typical toaster and I expected it to outlast me quite frankly. Could not have been more wrong. The plastic casing developed a small crack at the top within a few months but a short while after the whole thing is about to fall apart with a massive break on one side. This appliance is subject to almost zero physical force (like a blender for example) but the materials are shockingly cheap for the price.

My experience of Dualit products is - they cost a premium, but provide mediocre quality at best. This seems to be consistent, across a range of products.
My honest [and accurate] feedback would be - buy a Smeg, Bosch or similar, as you'll get much better value for money.

After many years buying toasters which worked well but we discovered were usually Chinese made we were determined to buy British and were delighted with our Dualit Lite 2 slice toaster. Unfortunately that has been short lived as after 9 months it packed up. Tried all the trouble shooting advice but to no avail. John Lewis have replaced it immediately under their guarantee which was great but of all the toasters we have ever had this was the most expensive (by far) and has lasted the least time. It's taken the shine off our delight in buying a British product. Disappointing!

I brought a new toaster over £200 that could have burnt down my home if I didn't return a few minutes later
it did not turn itself off its burnt the underneath of my kitchen cupboard
I'm dyslexic and didn't read the turn off appliance that is on the timer . my old one didnt have warnings on it so I just thought that this century they will be safer than ever
why sell a product that dosent turn off and could burn your home down DONT TAKE THE RISK your kids could use it to make toast next minute your homeless
I called instead of sending some one round to collect as matter ofvurgency they told me to go find a box and send it back so im going to papers to warn every one
the toster was brand new only used once wear and tear on a 225.oo toaster WOW thermal cut out why is my cupboard bottom burnt and why was is still on 15 mins after I went out and luckily came back before it burnt my house down

Similar problems involving the switch with a second replacement kettle – after four years the switch now doesn’t stay down at all and having had correspondence with Dualit they basically don’t want to know – they’ve offered me 25% off a new/replacement kettle – that’s not good enough – a free replacement would have been nice – this is the second replacement one I’ve had – an expensive appliance such as this should last for years surely? Also the plastic strip which covers the measurement of water on the side of the kettle has been slowly breaking off– sharp shards of plastic- dreadful quality – looking around on the Internet, dozens of people have had trouble with these kettles – particularly with the switch not staying down – really terrible quality – I wouldn’t buy another Dualit kettle
And this is the reply from Dualit who as I said, do not care at all:

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry to hear that you have had a disappointing experience with your Lite kettle. Only certain items within the Dualit range are designed to be repairable and the Lite range is not a repairable range. Please accept our apologies for the disappointment that you have incurred. Best regards Dualit.

The speed and efficiency with which Dualit responded to my query about our 4 slice toaster not working and pointed to the cause of the problem with a straight forward 'fix' was second to none.
It is well worth buying Dualit products when this level of customer service comes in the package.
Could not speak more highly of the level of service that I received.
Many Thanks

I have given the Dualit Customer Service team a 5 star rating with respect to the swift reply and excellent advice with respect to a minor issue with my new Dualit kettle. Prospective buyers ought to know that our old Dualit kettle lasted over 13 years…well worth considering! The minor issue mentioned was to do with the very tight fitting lid. The lid is designed with customer adjustable lips to either loosen the lid or tighten as required. All sorted now!
