Find another company!

Find another company! The Dryer Vent Squad of Ft. Collins made a REALLY bad mistake that cost me hundreds of dollars, and wouldn't take responsibility for the expense they caused me. Our HOA requires owners to have dryer vent inspections done every other year, so I hired the Dryer Vent Squad of Ft. Collins to inspect my dryer vent. Afterwards, the DRYER VENT SQUAD of FT. COLLINS emailed me a report saying my dryer vent hose was completely disconnected, and that they could fix it, but it would involve busting up the drywall to get at it and they don't repair drywall. They included with the report a blurry PDF photo to "show" it was disconnected. After months of wrangling with the HOA to figure out whether I or the HOA was the party responsible for this repair, the HOA said it was all on me. Since it was going to be a construction project to repair it, it took me awhile to save up the money and book a contractor to do it. I finally called a licensed contractor who was familiar with our complex to open up the drywall and reconnect the dryer vent hose, but when the contractor opened the drywall saw the whole length of the vent hose, they found it was NOT really disconnected at all. I told the DRYER VENT SQUAD OF FT. COLLINS about this error. They told me they had MADE A MISTAKE and sent me the WRONG info and photo, that what they sent me was actually for a different address. They refunded me for the inspection, but their mistake cost me more than $500 to have the drywall torn out, repaired and re-painted -- not to mention all the time I had to take off work to deal with this mess -- and it was all for nothing because they made a really bad mistake. I asked THE DRYER VENT SQUAD OF FT. COLLINS to cover the cost of the contractor ripping out and repairing the drywall. They ghosted me. They didn't even offer to share the cost. Do yourself a favor and FIND ANOTHER COMPANY. I found out the hard way that this business is unaccountable for their work and their errors, and CANNOT be trusted.
