I went bankrupt a few months ago and this company is still pestering me with threatening letters.
When you call them they don’t seem to know what they are doing and I was put on hold for 15 minutes whilst they checked details.

I have been trying for 2 weeks to speak to someone after discovering that i have CCJ's on my credit file. I was paying off this debt and it went over to another company who passed it over to Drydensfairfax and they have added on over £200 to the bill and i have been left holding on for over 2 hours to speak to someone as i want to sort this out. But reading the reviews of other people i have not a chance in hell getting to speak to someone.

Useless company

Useless company! I almost finish paying them of which I was happy to do and then they turn around and deposit £32 back into my account without notifying me and letting me know! When I called up and questioned why they done this without letting me know and explained that depositing £32 into my account will mean that I will have more to pay, the guy at the other end couldn’t give me an answer, the phone then disconnected and I called back and got through to another lady who also couldn’t explain even though she was more friendly, none of their colleagues could give me a simple answer. I then raised it as a complaint and waited weeks on end for a reply which did not make sense as it was a Simple question it wasn’t rocket science. Just to be told after 6 weeks of waiting that “my complaint hasn’t been taking further due to not finding a mistake in my query”. So now I owe this company £132 which was suppose to be £100 left to pay, which makes no sense due to a error/mistake on their end. I am now getting threatening emails regarding paying the balance. Well guess what you will not get a penny from me until you sort this problem out. This company are crooks and have no knowledge or understanding at all. Customer service is shocking. What a disgraceful company!!

They call themselves solicitors but…

They call themselves solicitors but they are unprofessional crooks. They can not answer simple questions. They have been sending harassing letters and now a ccs for a debt a supposedly owe however, I have explained that I have not nor never have been in possession of a virgin account. There has been no further explanation. The line became distorted after my questioning followed by the ignorant person on the other end hanging up

Recieved a letter today saying our "our records indicate that you have failed to respond to our previous request to contact us regarding this matter" I replied to them with a recorded delivery which had to be signed for stating in dispute and asking for documentation as was our right which has been ignored. They replied " we understand that this account is not in dispute" . !!!! Due diligence springs to mind. No documentation. Complaint follow up to SRA.
Dispute is ongoing. Letter to Law society . Most unprofessional firm a disgrace to thier proffesion . Will keep you updated. I would stress that the more complaints made about the handling of cases by this firm to relevant Gov. bodies tand the SRA the better . This forum is an eye opener it is blatantly obvious Drydensfairfax thinks it is above the law and your opinions dont matter. They do complain.

This company is a joke, they are trying to bully and harrass me for a debt that i had already had a ccj for 12 years ago, i still pay a minimal amount each month but these lot think they can bully me, they have already added an extra £400 to my account for the failed attempt earlier this year to issue another CCJ but now i have to go and get my solicitor involved.

Terrible firm to deal with

Terrible firm to deal with. I have lost most of my income . Emailed them on 27th March requested a holiday on my payments, no reply. Took £367 from my account in April, phoned them and they said no further payments would be taken, took another £367 from my account in early May. Rang them at 9am 6/5/2020 phone went dead. Tried to send them an email, site down. These people make me sick. They charge massive hourly rates of hundreds of pounds and don't give a toss about the average working man.SHAME on the lot of you. Your'e a disgrace to your profession.

Bunch of uneducated Clowns.

Tried chasing me from an over payment from previous employer. They didn't understand how a over-payment would make my taxable allowance go down... basics.. come on guys.

Previous employer got so annoyed at Drydens that they wrote the debt off.... Says it all really.

Received an alarming and threatening letter

Received an alarming and threatening letter without ever having received any prior correspondence from them. The letter states a warrant of control was issued against me on an amount of over £5000 which is a categoric lie. You cannot issue a warrant of control on amounts over £5000 unless it comes under CCA and then it is a writ of execution to the high court. I, as a layperson know this, yet a solicitor’s firm thinks it can threaten me with illegal lies. Their entire process is to scare & harass people. In my case I am a vulnerable disabled person and this is illegal activity asking me for an alleged amount I am not indebted to pay to a company I’ve never even heard of before this letter arrived. I have filed a formal complaint to them at complianceteam at drydensfairfax dot com and failure by them to resolve this will be me chasing them through authoritative channels for harassment; ignoring you if you say you don't owe the money, giving the impression that court action has been taken against you when it hasn't, etc.

Scammers, fraudsters, criminals

Scammers linked with other scammers Erudio Stuident Loans. Try threatening legal action even when they know they have no case and cannot possibly win.

They still pretend they have made an application to enter a county court judgment against me and maintain that I should be hearing from the court about the "judgement" soon even though I have stated to the court that I intend to fight as I owe nothing and Erudio are simply attemopting fraud.

Erudio and Drydensfairfax absolutely know that they have no legal case but are trying to intimidate me into paying money I do not owe.

Unfortunately I bet this actually works with several or many people. They are fraudsters plain and simple. Need to be shut down and prosecuted

Parasites.

This company are absolute parasites. The term unfit to practice should be applied to everyone associated with it.

They're the parasites of the legal profession, even ambulance chasers are a step up, which is saying something.
