Gautam was so patient, calm and encouraging throughout my lessons. I did an intensive course with him and it was such a rewarding experience which meant I passed my test. I would definitely recommend driving innovation to anyone who wants to learn to drive with confidence. 10/10

I would definitely recommend Gautam! I’ve had different instructors before, but no one can top him. His teaching style is 10/10. He helped me stay positive the whole time and never made me feel stressed.

I don’t even know where to start , he’s genuinely one of the best people I’ve met in my 20 years of living. Gautam taught me so much, especially with roundabouts because I was so scared of even trying them at first. He was so patient with me and always made me understand that small mistakes are needed to grow.

He’s such a compassionate person who genuinely cares about people, and I really loved all the lessons we had. Thank you so much, Gautam! I would 100% recommend ( luckily I found his page on chat gpt😭)

I had a the absolute best experience learning to drive with Sheilpa!

Sheilpa isn’t there just for passing the driving test but about learning how to drive in real life and explaining everything in a way that makes sense for you. Each lesson was tailored, including on how to deal with the self doubt which made a huge difference. Lessons always felt safe & in a manner in which I could make mistakes, ask questions, and learn from them without feeling silly or embarrassed - we could even laugh at silly things together!

Sheilpa really is a pro in making sure you feel confident and have the knowledge to do lessons without stress and more so on test day. I am usually an extremely anxious individual, but somehow I got through my test feeling like I already had a licence with the knowledge and confidence I gained from Sheilpa.

Sheilpa also taught my husband, who passed with Sheilpa’s teaching and guidance in which he is still so grateful for!

Overall, I’m so grateful to Sheilpa. I genuinely couldn’t recommend her enough & I sure will be recommending her & Driving Innovation to all my friends and family wanting their licence!

I had Sheilpa as my driving instructor and passed at Cannock street and could not ask for anyone better. Helped me with the nerves before my test and taught me all the tricks and tips. Furthermore made my driving lessons fun and had good bants. 10/10 would recommend.

I'm someone who suffers severely with anxiety. I am agoraphobic also and carry an orange with me as a safety mechanism. During my 27hours of driving lessons, I only once had to use that safety mechanism and that was the first 5minutes of my first lesson. Gautam made this whole experience a breeze and not once did I feel anxious.
If I made a mistake he made clear where and how to fix it, he always made sure we learnt from errors and not look at it as a negative.
I thought learning to drive would be a stressful struggle but every lesson was insightful and a joy to do. I will miss doing them and the calm of being in the presence of such an amazing teacher.
I passed with zero errors and I guarantee I couldn't have done that without choosing the right instructor.
Do yourself a favour and give yourself the best shot of passing with driving innovation. You won't regret it.

There’s definitely no “backseat driving” at Driving Innovation, you’re encouraged to get stuck in straight away, but always in a calm and non-judgemental setting that really promotes confidence. No matter how many times I had to go around Pork Pie roundabout, I was supported the whole way!

Gautam at Driving Innovation went out of his way to fit lessons around my full-time work schedule, which made a huge difference. In under six months, he helped me go from being genuinely terrified of driving to a confident driver. It honestly felt like magic.
Each lesson was person-centred and carefully tailored to my individual needs, which is rare to find. When I requested to switch from learning manual to automatic, this was handled quickly and with complete understanding, which really reinforced how supportive and flexible Gautam is as an instructor.

I honestly cannot recommend Driving Innovation enough, especially my instructor Gautam. After failing a few times, my confidence was at an all-time low and I knew I needed a change. That’s when I switched to Gautam about five months before my test — and I can genuinely say he saved me.

From day one, he was incredibly calm, friendly, and patient. His teaching style is so clear and reassuring that even the things I used to panic about suddenly felt manageable. He never made me feel silly for my mistakes; instead, he explained everything in a way that actually stuck and helped me improve lesson by lesson.

For the first time, I felt genuinely confident behind the wheel and ready for my test. And in the end, I passed with only one minor for hesitation, which still feels unreal to say!
