I am very unhappy with this process and the way I’ve been treated by some employees. I returned my vehicle within the 5 days and under the 300 miles. I’ve been told about 20 different stories of what happens next. I wanted to move my down payment to another vehicle elsewhere which seems not possible and apparently a refund is even more difficult and I’ve been told I may never see it, as it will be mailed to a dealership. This is crazy. I was told the process to return and exhange if not satisfied would be easy. Beware cause that is not the case! I don’t have a car or my money. This is a horrific situation. how can I buy another vehicle if DriveTime has my money??? And I did contact customer relations in case that was gonna be suggested.

It was busy and our salesman was trying to finish up a sale and it was taking longer than normal. He worked mine at the same time. I test drove 3 cars and when I found mine he had my deal done in an hour while still helping the other customers.
Alicia was wonderful to work with. Best customer service 👌 👏 🙌

They got me out of there quick with good prices and good deals. They allowed me test drive every vehicle I was looking at. They showed me the best possible of outcomes from different angles. It was hard to say no to deals that good.
The salesman, was very straight up, no gimmicks, tricks or BS. Very helpful and informative, wanted to make sure I understood everything.
Very helpful and friendly! Was patient and helped me get what I wanted for a price I could afford.
Alicia manor was a wonderful help and very nice!

I have terrible credit, so being able to get approved was a miracle. It was an easy process, I was in a car same day. However, while driving home the check engine light flashed and the lights went dim, and the car almost stalled then went back to normal. Funny thing is before I test drove it, the saleswoman said she had to turn off a tire sensor first so there was my first red flag, 2nd when the engine light flashed. I wanted to keep this car bad, i mean i was really desperate, so i took it to a few places for pre purchase inspection but no one could find what was wrong. I almost got excited, thinking well there’s nothing wrong, but then the car stalled again and then I was able to start it and keep driving. This sucked, because it wasn’t something I could just ignore. I’m a nurse and I travel between cities/state on the highway, can’t just be having a car stalling. So I thought well maybe I can just get it fixed with the warranty, but fix what if no one is finding a problem? Also read the reviews about the warranty place refusing to cover things… but if that wasn’t already enough I finally opened that nice folder with the paperwork and why I didn’t see this before, I don’t know, probably too excited… but 20k finance charge! So the car was 23k plus the 20k.. so 45k for a white 2020 gmc terrain. Listen I brought that thing back just in time for the 5 day grace period, that part was simple, I mean they weren’t too happy and I had to wait for a check but I got it, and here’s my advice… if you have terrible credit DriveTime will definitely get you approved. But maybe just save and buy the car there gonna sale you for triple the price. Or pay it off early I guess. Idk but overall the buying process was easy, they were nice when purchasing, and if you have to bring it back, that’s simple too.
