Driver Easy is just that: Easy

Driver Easy is just that: easy to use and worth the not-insignificant annual charge. Plus, it found driver updates for all of my computers - some so old they are still running Windows 7 - that the native PC software, if any, either didn't or couldn't.

Improved Performance of a New Computer

I set up a new computer but it was not running as it should after the manufacturer's set up including updating drivers. So I tried Driver Easy and it found many drivers that needed updating and the computer has run very well since then.

OK but flawed

The Intel(R) Serial IO 12C Host Controller - 7A45 driver update breaks the Intel BE200 Wi-Fi card. The driver appears to be outdated, the existing driver showing from 1968 which is obviously a development error, but those 'outdated' Intel drivers shouldn't be touched basically. If I didn't have an integrated RJ-45 LAN adapter I would have been in big trouble.
Sure, you can roll back the driver but it so happened that I couldn't logon to my online account without an internet connection. Fortunately I could connect to the router with a wired connection, logon and roll-back the driver.

Success to W11 thanks to DE

I have been struggling for months to update to W11. Constantly getting errors that not al drivers were uptodate without telling which.
One run of DE updating 12 drivers which windows said were uptodate and the update to W11 went flawless.
So thanks DE!
