The Clifton Moor
The Clifton Moor, York Dream Store is very clean, well laid out and the staff are very professional. The young man, Austin, who served me was extremely knowlegeable. After asking about my current bed, he then asked about my requirements in a new bed; he then showed me a few mattresses which I could try out and brought me a pillow so I could lay down and gave me privacy to lay down in privacy. I chose a divan and mattress. Austin then verbally went through all the monetary side of buying etc. All in all, it was a very pleasurable experience, especially so by the attention to my requirements and Austin's customer service expertise - thank you very much Austin

Excellent choice and service
We went to the York Clifton moor store. The staff were friendly but not pushy and helped us choose a new mattress from the really good choice they have there. The machine help you choose a new mattress was great. Doesn’t take too long but was spot on

Boing go their mattresses
Where to begin? Over priced. Terrible quality you can hear the springs go boing. We
paid over £600 for this rubbish mattress. We went back to the shop to return it.
They sent us away and said we couldn’t return it for a month. We went back. We ended up paying another £500 for a better mattress. Weeks past. Six weeks later, they came to exchange the mattresses. But. Apparently there was a small mark on the mattress so they wouldn’t exchange it. We had put on a new double topper mattress from John Lewis immediately and suddenly there was a biro mark on the mattress. 😳Where had that come from? Weird. So …. the new mattress cost us over £1000 and when it was taken back the van driver carried it on his own. BBalancing our new king size mattress on his head. Apart from the fact that he had springs that he would’ve broken by putting his head through it, that’s not a quality mattress is it? that’s not quality is it? we hope to get our money back for the upgrade mattress and will keep this rubbish mattress and save up for a quality mattress from a quality retailer. we will never ever go there again and our advice …don’t go there. Oh and don’t try and contact them… that’s a laugh… local shop say ring head office. Thirty minute wait. Chat was 19 minute wait. Never known such an outfit. Keep away! Boing!

Different Mattresses Available
Different mattresses could be tried according to comfort grade after using their Sleepmatch technology. However, we were not shown, advised or tried any of the ordinary mattresses but led straight to pillow top mattresses even though I had enquired on entering the shop about the ordinary mattresses available. No problems choosing the Divan Bed base or Headboard with the Salesman adhering to our request for certain fixings
