Jeg oplever, at App’en lacker og er ustabil, især på Apple TV og ditto computer. Irriterende og egentlig mærkeligt, når andre tv Apps virker fint. Måske DR skal have lidt hjælp udefra?

Being lied to, and they hung up on me

My problem is not for paying. It happens in all countries, and I accept it. My problem is that I have been lied to, 3 times. First I was told I could pause for 2 months ( was going out of the country). When I came back there was a bill with penalty fee. I called to have it fixed, and I was met with arrogance and attitude , that one of the two penalty fees would be taken out as a favor. When I asked for a supervisor, the employee hung up on me. I then called another employee and asked for the complaint department. That woman assured me she would take the penalty fee out and send me a new bill and that I was still on a monthly payment without automation, just like before. Days passed and I called again. I epxlained the situation to the employee and she expressed that the penalty fees were halfed and that I had to shell out my bank info, or accept I would be charged for 6 months. Then she identified herself as the woman who said she would fix everything, and denied ever saying what she said. I guess when you sell a service that people are forced to pay, you dont care about ratings and bad service. Nevertheless, I do not know why I have not gotten a response as to why I am now obliged to do one or the other and not go back to pay montly by hand as I did till now. Is it a penalty thing? I dont know because NO oNE will give me an answer just mindlessly repeat "it s the rules". Well, I am living proof that this is not the case, and I do not like to be treated like cattle. Last time I checked I worked hard for my money and my bank account info is still mine to control.

Forcing me to pay for something I have never used

It is unreasonable that I'm forced to pay for access to something that I never use. I would much rather have it disappear all together, as is the current trend with traditional TV, and stop wasting mine and public money. And the fact that it's so expensive is maddening. 3x the price of Netflix for a crappy TV channel? This should die already.

Bill for nothing - for no reason!!

Hi,

I do not understand why I should be paying DR? I ask all my Dane friends, they don't know "why" but they just say "Just Pay".

I know Danes love to pay tax - and rarely ask questions.

1. I have paid for my TV - that means I have paid for using it. I also pay for the electricity it consumes.
2. I pay for the channels that I see, to the service provider, so I am paying to watch those channels. (I never see DR channels - and they earn by advertisements too)
3. I pay for internet connection to the service provider so I have paid for using it.
4. Media/entertainment tax - is already paid to the government.

DR Licens - I don't understand why I should pay it. a. The amount is more than the bills of the service provider.???

DR provides me no service, no claims and no accountability, why should I pay DR?
I would pay DR - if it promises they would make sure that my TV is always working, or my internet never gets disconnected, but these are responsibility of the service provider, and I have to pay for TV repairs and service providers.

If the Govt increases the tax all will feel the pain, but that can be accepted.

If we compare this License with the driving License, driving license is
1. Not mandatory.
2. The money is for making sure one has properly learnt how to drive.
3. It is paid only once.

WHY PAY DR?
Regards.

One of my Dane friends said - Use it or not / see it or not you have to pay. OK in that case - I have created a 30 minutes movie about myself. Everybody in Denmark should pay me 10000 DKK each. Watch it or not, like it or not - everybody must pay.

DR holder max

DR2, DR K, P1 især. Intelligent radio og tv for intelligente mennesker. Og licenskronerne financierer jo også et alternativ for alle jer andre: TV-2. Så snup en tudekiks og lad være at jamre.

Bulk sales by having mandatory license

I don't understand how DR is allowed to circumvent laws, which prevents bulk sales (owning a TV, internet connection or radio requires one to pay license). I would like to compare this to having a fridge, and be required to pay a yearly fee to recieve cheese to put in the fridge. I do not want to pay for that other people are having cheese, when other less costly methods are available.
DR could use video on demand or adding commercials to the TV. Forcing license upon us in these modern times, with many alternatives available online as well as on the TV (for free), is not fair for the population.
