We received atrocious service from the manager at Domayne Fortitude Valley, Anna.
After viewing our table in store and getting a quote from Paul, we clearly explained that our apartment has four flights of stairs and that we would need a 4-man delivery. We placed the order online that night so we could secure the current gift card offer, but online there was only an option to pay for standard delivery. Paul called the next day, and during that conversation we again discussed the need for a 4-man delivery and again made it clear that there were stairs.
When the delivery arrived, the drivers refused to carry the table up the stairs. They also did not appear physically capable of doing so. In the end, they left the table in our apartment car spot. We paid $356 on top of the $99 standard delivery fee for a 4-man service, yet four people effectively showed up and did nothing.
When we called Domayne and spoke to the manager, Anna, she offered no support, care, or practical assistance. She refused to approve a refund for a service we did not receive. She was rude, spoke over me, and made no effort to rectify the issue.
This was extremely disappointing customer service from both the delivery team and store management.
