This was actually the second time I worked with d.labs. We had collaborated a few years ago (at a different company), and I was quite happy with their work back then. So when our team needed extra hands this year while building a new customer-facing app, I reached out to them again.

This time, we worked together for a few months to help design and build part of the app. One of their engineers joined our team and worked with us almost like an internal team member. Communication was very clear, and they quickly understood our architecture and ways of working.

The engineer was experienced and asked good questions about the product side, not just the code. He also managed his workload well — always delivering, able to prioritize, and consistently flagging when he needed guidance on what to pick up next.

In general, a very good collaboration. Not much overhead, no drama, just solid work. Would definitely recommend if you need experienced people who can integrate fast.

Thoughtful team who bring a curiosity to projects that I find begets quality. The team seem to take joy in learning how apps tick rather than just delivering MVP and then patching.

D.Labs are all of those things. Having been CFO/COO in large agencies over the last 20 years and having sold one for £350m, I can confidently say that these guys are impressive. It is incredibly refreshing to see an agency deliver on its promises and on time and on budget. Tailored more to entrepreneurial companies with ambitious plans, they are without doubt an excellent tech partner for growing startup...I just hope they continue to expand as we want to continue using them on our journey of growth at skiyodl. uptodate, practical and upfront and honest. well done!

I've worked with D.Labs for about 5 years now, and they've been instrumental in helping us scale our company over the years. As a serial founder, DLabs is my go-to partner over many years and multiple products. They completely understand start-ups even if the start-up does not quite understand itself at the point of engagement and I have always found their alignment with the stage of my start-up to be excellent.

This would have been impossible to this degree with normal internalized engineering teams or external software houses. My advice to anyone looking for these types of services is to request to talk to some of the founders of companies that have been contracted in the past. In Dlabs case there are over a 100 that have stayed with Dlabs for many years-- some were referred by me, others I know because DLabs works hard to create an ecosystem with and for founders.

The most unprofessional and disrespectful development agency I had to deal with. Misearable communication, no internal processes, no proper development in place. People spending 1/2 of their time on other clients despite the fact that they are paid full time. Stay away from them.
