I know you can return products if they are not in 100% condition,however l haven’t,as the screw box l purchased only cost four pounds something,l started to use it only to discover one of the catches or clasp fixings was missing.l didn’t return it as l had already filled it when l realised.So disappointing.

2nd bad experience in less than a week!
This is the second bad experience with B&Q in less than a week.
This time it related to the return of an item which the supplier asked for me to return back to one of B&Q's outlets directly. However when I get there the Leatherhead store manager told me categorically that they can't take the item because the collection courier would not take the item from them for being more than 1m in length!
If B&Q are sourcing products from other suppliers through their web site, they need to provide the service for returning these products.
After all we the customer are dealing with B&Q and not other suppliers!

my recent order for a double egg chair
my recent order for a double egg chair, placed on 13 April through B&Q (Order Number: 1062346035). The item was supplied by a third-party seller, Artemis Home.
At the point of purchase, I was advised that delivery would take place on Monday 20 April. This delivery did not occur, and I received no prior notification or explanation.
I subsequently contacted Artemis Home directly and was informed that they did not have all the required parts available. I was then advised that delivery would instead take place on Wednesday 22 April. A delivery time slot of 8:00am–11:00am was later confirmed, requiring me to take time off work to accommodate this.
At 11:20am on the day of delivery, I received a call advising that the delivery was on its way. However, I was also informed that only part of the order would be delivered, as 2 of the 5 components had been left at the warehouse. The delivery arrived at approximately 11:30am, outside the agreed time window. Given that I had taken time off work specifically for this delivery, even a short delay is unacceptable.
Following this, I contacted B&Q customer services to seek assistance. Unfortunately, this interaction was extremely disappointing. I experienced prolonged silence, followed by audible laughter in the background. When the adviser eventually responded, I was told her microphone was not working and was abruptly asked what I wanted. This level of service falls well below the standard I would expect from B&Q.
I was initially informed that no action could be taken until all items had been delivered. After the partial delivery, I contacted B&Q again, and while the second adviser did assist by contacting Artemis Home, this did not resolve the ongoing issues.
I was then advised that the missing parts would be delivered yesterday. However, once again, the delivery was incomplete, with only one of the two outstanding parts arriving. The final part was not delivered until today, further extending the delay and inconvenience.
Overall, this experience has been highly frustrating due to:
Missed and delayed deliveries
Repeated incomplete deliveries of the item
Poor communication from the third-party supplier
Unprofessional conduct from a B&Q customer service representative
Loss of time and inconvenience caused by incorrect delivery arrangements
The annoying thing is last summer I ordered a table through B&Q and I had the same experience. This will be the last item I order through B&Q the hassle just isn't worth it.

Self service
I found a trolley, placed the goods I wanted from various depts into it, went to the till, scanned the goods myself, paid and stacked the goods in the car. I award myself five stars for efficiency, personal motivation and not causing any staff disruption by asking awkward questions.

Spiral hose great but part missing sadly
I ordered and purchased a spiral hose as an extension for my garden hose and to make life a lot easier to fill my hot tub, The spiral is great as it extends and you don’t need to worry about kinks Ect , But unfortunately when I opened the box the spraying nozzle was missing even though the box was taped sealed, yes I could have taken it back and got it replaced but it was not worth the travel distance for what it cost so will do with the one I already have , So I have given 2 stars only because of this problem and not the quality of the actual product, Yes I would buy again only this time I would check that all the parts are there before leaving the store.
Avoid b and q kitchen units
The kitchen units were very poor quality and very flimsy when assembled. My experienced kitchen fitter took over half a day just to make them solid enough to move around.
Can 'Delivery Only' items be delivered to a B&Q Store for collection?
Ordering online was easy. I find it a little frustrating when one item of two in my basket comes up not available for click and collect. I only live 10 minutes away from Eastwood B&Q so collecting is more convenient for me.
Why can't B&Q offer the delivery of the items that are 'delivery only' to a B&Q store of the customers choosing to enable collection?

Utterly hopeless
Utterly hopeless.
I wanted white pots but received grey, the DPD tracking number was not recognised; on the same order was a plastic bucket which DPD advised me was returned to B&Q - despite various emails from the customer service team this is not resolved with the branch claiming the bucket was delivered. I was told that a refund (£1) would be made, to date I have not received this.
Best of all B&Q refused to accept my reviews stating the above as they did not meet their “guidelines” that is the reviews were negative.
Well stocked shop
Well stocked garden centre, came for what I want and friendly lady served me.
Also even though the store is not one of the large ones it is well stocked and clean.
