I have had a positive experience studying with Distance Learning Centre. The course materials are well structured and have supported my learning effectively. The feedback provided has been clear and helpful in guiding improvements and ensuring that I meet the assessment criteria.

Easy, fluent communication and prompt marking

Being a mature student, I was nervous about beginning my diploma as I wasn’t sure I had the necessary skills to progress well within the course. I left school with no formal al qualifications and then gained my maths and English gcse at a local college.

My tutors have been exceptionally helpful and taught me the skills I needed such as constructing essays, researching, Harvard referencing and time management. They provided emotional support during the times of self-doubt and uncertainty.

The study material is very informative and helpful, but can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming if you’re a person that struggles with large volumes of information. Having said that, tutors are always on hand to break things down for you and explain further if necessary.

If you don’t have very good computer skills, you will receive help with this from the tutors and the tech team. All in all, when beginning my diploma, it felt like an overwhelming amount of information and tasks to complete. I am almost finished with my diploma and can honestly say it’s been a mostly enjoyable experience and I’m really glad I decided to use the DLC.
