I was a hulu customer and dropped it…

I was a hulu customer and dropped it due to paying for services we never use. I received an email stating that if I returned as a customer it would be 4.99 per month for the next 3 months . In the email was a code. Clicked it and it said bad error. Expires June w026. I call. Well they had me on the phone for 45 minutes trying different things. He wanted me to delete apps off my phone. It was the most useless conversation I ever had. After 45 minutes of wasting my time , I just hung up. I asked him why could I just give him the code and he reactivate my account, he said they dont do that! Disney is such a joke and the whole operation

Keeping users from own service

It is constantly making me change my household. It does not believe that my tvs are in the same household even though they are in the same house on the same WiFi. It has done this with 2 different accounts. They need to either figure that crap out or stop blocking users all together. Because it is absolutely ridiculous that I have to update my household to switch from my living room tv to my bedroom.

My last year with dineyplus

I have the hulu annual with disney+ add on. Without any notice whatsoever at all they took the disney add on away. I only discovered it when I tried to login to watch disney. I called them and asked them what happened and they had the balls to say they did send emails informing people. Why would I call and say "What's wrong with my account?" if they actually really did inform people that they would be changing the structure of the disney/hulu bundle. So I have to go a year without disney+. If they jack the price up from $12.99 for the bundle by the time my gift card runs out they will lose my household as a customer. I had no qualms doing this when netflix wanted to play greed games. If they don't care about screwing customers I sure as hell don't want to give them anymore of my money. They did it to themselves.

Disney doesn't care about losing dedicated customers!

I have had a Disney+ subscription since it started. I pay $189.99 annually since the last price increase. This year they charged me over $215! Even though their website says it's $189.99 for Disney+ Premium. When I called their Customer Service phone number, I was told that the difference was taxes!! Even though I've never been charged over $20 in taxes before. There is obviously a mistake, but the customer service agent couldn't figure that out no matter how many times I said it. I guess Disney has so many customers, they don't care about losing customers who have been dedicated to Disney+ and Annual Passholders for decades.

I am beyond so sick of Disney

I am beyond so sick of Disney! You would think they would be smart enough to see that their stupid system is crap! I continuously struggle with streaming because for some reason I have to click the household update Everytime I watch it until I run out of the times they will allow me to use it, then I have to call them and stay on the phone forever to get it fixed! STUPID! Disney makes enough money to not worry about people sharing their accounts! A representative of theirs advice to me was not to use MY account which I PAY FOR outside of my home!!!!!! Insane!!! I pay for it I should be able to use it whenever, wherever and however I choose to!

so bad

God, it is so bad. Now this is kind of embarrassing, but with the chaos of four little kids, my husband and I were paying for duplicate Disney+ accounts for years. Now the kids are older and we literally cannot use the account we pay for when we travel. We enter the passwords and do all of the codes and then are rerouted to a Hulu bundle question that has no answer answer (yes, we also pay for Hulu). We were paying double for years and now we can't even use what we pay for. i'm sure the cancellation process is going to be a nightmare, but we have to end this madness.

Ad Overdose | Watch Ads, Occasionally a Show

Paid service. Unpaid patience.

Disney+ Standard with Ads is unbearable.

Over a minute of ads before the show starts.
One minute of watching? More ads.
Three minutes later? Ads again.

This isn’t streaming - it’s commercials with occasional Disney breaks. The ad frequency is insane for something you pay for. It completely destroys any enjoyment and feels worse than free TV.

Either cut the ads drastically or stop pretending this is a “standard” subscription. Right now it’s a straight-up cash grab.

App is very slow to load on all of my devices. If I pause a program to go to the rest room or something else, lots of times it will forget what I was watching and start an episode that I have already watched and not the program I was watching. One of the worst streaming apps I have encountered. Lots of programming to watch if it works.

I have had to call in over 10 times in…

I have had to call in over 10 times in the last 3 months to update my household. I've changed password multiple times, no one has my account information, I'm not sharing my account with anyone and I keep getting kicked out on all my devices. Pair that with the price increase, this service is increasingly frustrating and annoying. Cancelling our service before next renewal.

Disneiy+"s Black Friday False Ad Promises

I purchased a Black Friday special Disney+/Hulu subscription on Nov. 26, 2025 thru ROKU for 4.96 a month for a 12 month subscription. The instructions were vague, I followed the ad links, when I made the Black Friday Ad purchase. On 12/09/2025, when I checked my credit card I found Roku through Disney+ charged for the full price of 14.96 a month for a 12 month subscription. Roku said I had to contact Disney+. So I called Disney+. They said that the offer did not stand, even though the billing date on the account was the Black Friday date for the ad. The supervisor, Carl said as the Black Friday date was over and it was not done through their website, Disney would NOT HONOR the sale price. He also said it was written on Disney's page. Roku advertised it and had me follow the links and it did not say anything about going to Disney's site. The sale price was still on the Roku Online website at the time I called Disney+. I even had to verify it through my online account. In other words Disney gave me the run around and would not give me the Black Friday deal that I purchased on Nov. 26th 2025 and was owed to me. In other words Disney did NOT HONOR the sale price and wanted to charge the full price! Talk about False advertisement. Disney advertises you one price then substitutes and charge a much higher price in it's place. That is called "Bait and Switch" and is against the law. I cancelled my subscription. I live in Orlando FL, and been to Disney World many times. Never will I trust Disney again or recommend Disney to anyone as Disney doesn't stand by what they advertise. Shame on you Disney+!

this app has given me so much trouble

this app has given me so much trouble. it will randomly kick me off the app and make me log in again while also not allowing me to log in! it is truly so stupid and i have so much hate in my heart bc of this. i don’t think it should be this freaking hard to log into my account i pay god knows how much each month. all i wanna do rn is watch beauty and the beast on the streaming service I PAY FOR! but it’s proving to be impossible bc the app is shit

Disney+ keeps charging me despite the…

Disney+ keeps charging me despite the fact that I don't even have an active account. When I finally got through their customer service line, they couldn't even locate my credit card within their system despite the fact that I was just charged by their company. They had no "account" that they could find and I was told my only recourse was to contact my credit card company and dispute the charge. A complete scam.
