Properly realized and delivered
I would strongly recommend this company and definitely prefer again in the future.
First and foremost the final product was exceptional in terms of quality and as imagined in appearance. I appreciate the personal communication and help provided during the whole procedure. There was a slight delay (couple of days-nothing really special) in production for which I was properly and on time informed. The parcel arrived very fast and I'm satisfied with the packaging.
Overall a pleasure to work with. Thank you.

a great product for a great price
we received the CD's very quickly and the quality is excellent. the staff was very helpful in guiding me through the process. the template made it very easy to lay out my artwork and quickly see the end result. the only thing i would pick on is that the cd don't display what track is playing, it only displays track 1-6. other than that i would recommend DiscRepublic. Vinlys NEXT!

Thx you so much for great rating and comments, regarding the issue you mention, I think that maybe you didn't add all information in the Meta data once you made the Wavfiles? this can actually be the case here or in some cases the CD player doesn't support CD text. looking forward to the Vinyl , we have a great spring vinyl offer coming up soon. Complaints futile
Discrepublic claimed I had numbered my files incorrectly when sending them, and they sticked to their version even when I sent proof otherwise. The sequence of songs on the printed cd turned out in the wrong order. Instead of taking responsibility, they made me the "generous offer" of reprinting the discs at a ridiculously marginal discount, and I would still have to pay postage, customs and possible import charges, which I had already paid in the first place. I gave up complaining, since it seemed to be futile. They didn't seem very open to criticism. In the future, I will probably look for other companies to make physical copies of my music. That said; soundwise the technical quality of the cd was excellent.
EDIT: The answer underneath, from discrepublic, seems to prove my point.

Dear Tor, it makes me very sad to get this criticism its really not fair. We at discrepublic always re-make productions we failed to produce correctly, no questions asked. We simply cannot be blamed for mistakes made on costumer side. We have received audio files from you, numbered wrongly, You claim that the files changed file names (wav) during the transfer (wetransfer upload), I told you that its impossible. files does not change name by itself, permanently. We are sorry for the situation and therefor we offered you 25% discount for a discs re-run just showing our good will.
Delivery and production of my CD album FAILED
Delivery and production of my CD album was a disaster. It was quite delayed and arrived too late. And the product had several flaws. I ordered EAN code, and CELLOFAN wrapping, but got neither. In addition, the paper cover folding is off, so the CD album does not close properly. And on top of that, they don't bother to reply to emails, I have waited 1 month now. To me, it seems like the company executives are mostly on vacation. Sucks :(

We did respond by mail, sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the product, I have checked the correspondence and the sample we keep here for reference, Actually I do not understand what is wrong with it?
1. Cellofan/inplastning
You told us you had a booklet from other printer, of cause we dont cell wrap, you need to mount the booklet. Therefor we added cellophane bags for you to use after adding the booklets. cellophane wrapping is included the price. So to add cellbags was a nice thought from our side?
2. Bar code were missed yes: ( Unfortunately you missed it in the approval file you approved and so did we, you have one file to check we have hundreds a week, We mailed you a solution for this but got no answer.
3. Delivery time
In correspondence with my co-workers we have been crystal clear about our delivery times we have and there was no certainty for delivery before Christmas, therefore we gave you express options etc, but we managed against all odds to send these out 21th of december, thats 3 days before Christmas. regards Philippe

The shipment arrived in time, but the track and trace and customer service of the shipment company (DHL) was not good at all.

Hi Kenneth and many thx for your super rating :) :) this makes us very happy, Just to clarify the costs, when purchasing outside the EU, you purchase without VAT in our webshop. Custom charge is about 15 € and the MVA/VAT will be added at import, these cost will be invoiced separately by the forwarder in our case DHL. So the extra cost is approx 15 €. Good on quality and customer service, but their express delivery failed
I am very pleased with the CDs I got. Very helpful with getting the cover right. Was not able to ship CDs in the time frame promised with express delivery, but I was not charged extra. (Would have gotten 5/5 if they had made sure the printing facility but my order first in queue and shipped them out fast).

Hi Arne, sorry you feel that way, we have a huge request rate from Norway so it seems that we have very good prices to offer, and there is actually no custom taxation on these products. But DHL will charge all costumers for import declaration papers (150 nok) and of cause for the VAT (all projects are exported excluded Swedish VAT /Moms).
