I was a 12 year Discover customer. During my Discover card ownership I had 'excellentl" credit rating and my credit score is still excellent. I was charged a $55 membership fee for a monthly membership to a company called 'JustAnswer". I explained to Discover fraud department i used the Just ANswer service once and was asked to pay $1 fee for ntheir service. I check all my account balances weekly and noticed a $55 fee cahrged to my Discover by Just Answer. I called Just Answer first and they explained this was their monthly membership fee. I explained to Just Answer i did not know about their monthly memebership and was never asked if I wanted to join their membership. I asked for their fee to be returned. They explained they would not return the initial $55 fee but would cancel my membership to avoid future charges. I called Discover fraud department and explained this $55 fee and that I was never given the option to learn about this membership and was never given the option to say yes or no. I explained I expected to pay $1 for a service and that was the only charge I was aware would be charged. Discover said they could not help me. I paid this $55 charge off and cancelled my Discover card. Discover always said they would protect me against fraudulent charges-they lied.

I purchased an item paying for it with discover card thru PayPal, from charming favor to be shipped to my grandson for his birthday. He did not receive the package paid thru PayPal with my discover card. Both Discover and PayPal say they guarantee a refund if you do not receive it or have any problems with your purchase. Discover and PayPal refused to refund my money! Discover card refused a refund my money too because pay pal told them it was delivered to an unknown wrong address and knew I did not receive the item. DO NOT EVER TRUST THEM!

Tried to book a birthday party. Someone call Tom Cruise as this was Mission Impossible.
Every time I asked a question over email the bookings person didn't answer it but came back to me answering something I hadn't asked. When I called up and spoke to her she said she would speak to her manager to get me an answer. When I contacted her again - not only did she not have the answer but was even more unhelpful than before. This place seriously needs to sort out its back office staff and customer service.

Loyal customer for 5 years. I switched my bank account only 1 time ever for a payment when I spoke to a Rep to switch back (to the bank I’d used with discover for 5 years), he said it was taken care of. (I was on automatic payment so I figured everything was going through fine.) Well 3 months later I got a notification that my credit score had gone down substantially. When I looked it was from Discover. They had reported that my card was not paid for 90 days and that it was above the limit.
Both were incorrect, when I called into discover they said that they “could not find my account” (the one I had previously used for 5 years with them) so after they “couldn’t find” my account they did not call, email, or send a letter. Not for 1 payment, not for 2 but for 3!!! They also raised my APR because I was “delinquent” and then added on a ton of returned and late fees of which none were to do with anything I did or had control over. After hours on the phone, being hung up on several times and having a 3 way call with my bank who statrd it was Discover’s error, not mine, discover still refused to do anything. After 2 months of fighting with the company I closed my accounts and was refused compromise by discover. I eventually gave up and just paid the balance. And now that the account has been closed and paid for over 4 months discover started calling 3 days ago 3-4 times a day saying I never paid anything and they don’t have a record of the call nor my bank account. But here’s the kicker, my sister worked for discover in the collections department. The company can see all bank accounts associated, and their system makes a note anytime the account is accessed let alone a call and payment is made. I was lied to repeatedly, hung up on numerous times, called a liar, and treated with utter disrespect when in fact they could see the entire time I had tried to resolve this and they in fact had record of the bank account being valid. They were great the first couple years and now I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. Dishonest. Rude. Bad business practices. Poor customer service. Unfair and incorrect consumer reporting.
Discover is the number one credit card.
I love my Discover card! !! Discover is one of the best choice cards you could ever have. I can remember being in a tight budget situation and I had no where to turn. I called Discover and spoke with a live representative and we together worked out the problem in a matter of minutes.

I would like to thank Rosanne for her help with my query about a memory foam topper cover, she was very polite and efficient. Received the cover 2days later. Unfortunately the other item I ordered was out of stock. i was called to advise that new stock as expected by the end of the week, but later the same day was advised that the supplier would not be sending in more stock and that my order would be cancelled. I really appreciated the update calls as this allowed me to track down the same item from another supplier,
who still had some stock left.
Would use this company again.

Website did not ask all the questions for sizes
This ended up with being telephoned twice to get the make of our van for a fitted sheet that in the end did not arrive for our holidays because the order was so slow in arriving. Not impressed as when I returned both calls back to customer services with messages on my answer phone I had to give the details twice as obviously the first person had not recorded the information correctly and the second person had not got a clue as to why I had been re telephoned.
