I tried to used my National disability card today at the polling station to vote. About as much use has a chocolate teapot.

Got my mum a card and it's greatly improved her confidence when she goes out and about. She's enjoyed carer concessions and the odd discount at zoos when we go out with my children - and I referred a neighbour who has a boy with Down's Syndrome and they've equally enjoyed discounts, concessions and help. Great investment, the discounts/help make up for the £20 cost really quickly
They took my money but did not send me any card at all. I wrote an email to them, and they claim that I've paid to the wrong company, but their email shows that National Carers Card and Disability ID are issued by the same company, although they have two different websites: nationalcarerscard dot org dot uk and disabilityid dot co dot uk. They denied any responsibility and I will report to police as fraud to investigate this company. Just check on company house that they are not charity at all. Don't pay such private companies for any card!
I emailed them before applying to check a few thing. They were quick to reply. I ordered my card. I did not get a confirmation email or anything so i emailed them again 24h later they replied quickly. Card arrived 48hours later. Good service so far. My only thing would be for them to email a confirmation for orders so people don't worry.
Applied for the card on a Sunday night seemed like a good scheme discounts 'proof' of disability upon further studying and reviews the 'discounts' are pretty focused toward small percentages off gift cards and nothing special really savings wise, i.e 2.5% off online shopping, bit of a poor man's blue light card, paid the £20 plus £3.50 postage for 2 years, requested it to be canceled 30 mins later then 3 times in the morning still no reply, the card in my opinion is a waste of money, my electricity company offers the same kind of discount card for free.
very poor customer service no reply from any of the emails, guess I just wasted £20
Wouldn’t even give 1 star if it let me. Took my money 3 weeks ago, completely ignored emails that have been sent and when I finally found a number to call, they fobbed me off blaming Royal Mail. Haven’t received anything I ordered and paid for and they are still ignoring my emails. Disgusting company.
Please be careful when applying for a disability card. this company has very bad customer services and i do not understand what they are doing. i applied for a card and received nothing and they couldn't find my application so did another application only to receive a card the following day and the funds had been taken i sent an email to this company and received nothing and they again took the funds and issued another card in the same name and they have never replied to any of my emails and i have sent around 5 or 6 now. so i do not understand how they can issue two cards to the same person.
so please use a different company as they do not seem to be doing a good job knowing that the are dealing with valuable people
