Horrendous experience for a self employed position. The so called "manager" that deals with Bolton and surrounding areas is an absolute clown. He uses foul language with every valeter unless you run around for him from 1 dealership to another. It's embarrassing to the point where dealership staff complain about him. Chemicals aren't ordered on time and vehicles are valeted to the lowest standard. Valeters get charged for chemicals, uniform which I didn't receive any and was still charged and vehicle insurance even if the vehicles do not leave site. The regional manager is just as bad they do not want to hear that equipment is damaged or need to be replaced as this is an expense for the company. I would not recommend at all.

Worked for a month as a smart repairer in Small heath Birmingham. Was told it was £18 an hour. Then was paid £17 n told it was a managers mistake, heard but not corrected by 4 other managers ( because they were desperate) at the interview. Was strung out for 4 weeks n then told it wasn't going to change, if I didn't like it I could leave. So I did ! Btw £1 an hour was roughly £2.5k a year . Long hours, obstructive and nasty staff allowed to do what they want by weak site managers. Tools worn out or just not supplied for the task in hand. More bodyshop than smart repair, with large panel and filler work being the norm. Constantly fighting contamination in paint, spray booths with curtain sides never work . Beware, they will try to take you for a mug at every turn.

Working for direct is given in me the ability to use my set skills in the Valeting industry. Great bunch of people . I see valeters now being treated in the right manner . We're would we be with out them
