Not a great experience, I would go elsewhere.
I had heard good things about Direct Mortgage Centre so had very high hopes, however despite their website assuring you that their "Number 1 priority is you the user" this couldn't be further from the truth.
In my opinion the advice given was questionable at best, but worse than that is the slow responses and not returning our calls. The least you can expect is someone to phone you back when they promise to.
All round a very frustrating and disappointing experience, we went somewhere else in the end.
Update 1:
No, I am definitely talking about the correct Direct Mortgage Centre. The website has the same logo as the one you're using here!
Good try, but I see your website text has now been changed since I made my review, but anyone wishing to Google it can see the cached version. Where it stated:
"Our #1 priority is you, the user. Mortgage advice from your bank, building society will be limited to just the mortgages they sell and their criteria whilst advice from an Estate Agent may be restricted to small panel of lenders."
I literally have screenshots of both versions on your website before and after you changed it.
What an extremely underhand tactic and another massive red flag to anyone reading this!

Just like "we would NEVER describe our customers as users on our website" (I see you have now removed that part of your reply after you've been caught out).
My review stands and you guys have made yourselves look very silly and underhand here. Not the kind of people I'd want to entrust with my mortgage!
