Absolutely Useless
I slipped and fell in Tescos and broke my ankle and wrist. Digby Brown would not take on my case as I did not know why I fell eg, wet floor. Obviously they only take on black and white cases where they are sure of winning. Bit like some car insurance companies who only insure low cost vehicles.

We are committed to helping as many people as we can but sadly we cannot take on every case. In Scotland, there is no automatic right to compensation. In order to succeed with any personal injury claim, we need to be able to prove the other party is at fault.
Your case was carefully assessed by a Partner in the firm but based on the information you kindly provided, they felt the evidence was not strong enough to bring a successful legal case forward.

This was my first experience with a personal injury claim as a result of an rtc. I chose digby brown solicitors after reading the reviews on here, I was appointed with Charlotte from the Edinburgh branch and cannot fault her, she was so professional, friendly and accommodating.
The process took around two years but I trusted her fully from day one, she constantly kept me up to date, put me at ease and answered any questions I had no matter how trivial . I would certainly recommend digby brown and can’t speak highly enough of Charlotte for getting me through that period. Thank you from a very happy client.

Great experience and result
From day one of my claim Rebecca was so helpful. I had never made a claim before and had lots of questions which she answered everything in a lot of detail. She was always easy to get ahold of and made me feel comfortable every step of the way.
The process was a bit more complicated than I thought and took quite a while but I never felt in the dark about progress and we had a good result with the claim.
Great service and I will go straight back if I ever run into this kind of situation again. Many thanks

Contacted them after breaking my wrist badly the company was negligent.
Digby Brown contacted me to say they couldn't take the case as there was no negligence.
I started a case myself and won it so glad I didn't give percentage to them
It looks as if they only take on big cases this allows them to pay for their fancy adverts ?

All new cases are carefully assessed by a Partner in the firm based on the information we have at that time. In your case we felt the prospect of establishing fault was low, although we did encourage you to seek further advice.
