They work hand in hand with authorities to take money from people through pressure and unnecessary procedures.
With normal post you get your parcel faster and without these problems. DHL is expensive, and after you already pay for shipping, they still surprise you with extra documents you must read, understand, and submit. Then they demand more payments.
In my case, they are asking around 35 USD for samples that cost 13.5 USD each. This is simple robbery.
I asked DHL to provide evidence that I agreed to pay extortion fees to those low tier third-party entities such as customs and revenue offices, but in Romania customer support can simply close the chat without offering any explanation or taking any responsibility.

They lie about delivery attempts and hide behind waiting lines that never end in costumer service.
This is the kind of company that has ZERO care for customer and is continuously exploiting a leveraged position of power.

90% of DHL's parcels violated in Brussels region…
90% of DHL/Bpost parcels violated, completely opened and re-taped. DHL's label half unglued.
And 85% of small DHL shipments with a hole made for an endoscopic camera insertion.
Parcel marked as delivered, even if I did not sign anything. DHL says delivery is against a signature. Bpost/DHL are liars.
I am an EU citizen buying new items inside the EU, that has the right to be respected and receive an inviolate parcel with untouched items.
DHL/Bpost not only violate my shipments, but also violate the GDPR of the EU, by probably letting their employees collect my personal private data about my purchases. Sellers/senders are too small and weak to make this oligarchy of transporters respect the final customer and EU's General Data Protection Regulation for their own customers.
DHL/Bpost should be ashamed of treating, for years, the parcel receiver with so little respect in Brussels. DHL is responsible for badly degrading your mood. During all these years, it is DHL company's culture at this level.
DHL should be ashamed to pay and allow their dishonest employees or subcontractors to put DHL tape on violated Hema parcels delivered in the Hema shop from Jette Belgium. Dishonest people having DHL tape and then making holes on parcels, equipped with endoscopic cameras after my complaints to Hema.
Oligarchy of transporters not even with a quality service, but distributing dividends, buying huge amounts of their own shares to satisfy shareholders and inflate the stock options of the bosses. And sending the profit of the multinationals to daughter companies in fiscal paradises, for very low taxation.

I think they should shut down the company. They are scammers, they do a bad job, they make excuses all day until my stuff gets lost.😡 DHL parcel !! If you don't know how to manage, don't be so confident in opening a company.

What a complete waste of time. DHL have no idea what they are doing, there is no way to talk to them, they are rude, they could not care less. Love to send through meaningless notifications and when you try and phone them you are led to believe you will have the opportunity to talk to a person but of course none of the options allow you to do this....none of them. Then you get through to DHL Express and they are so rude and unhelpful. The rudest I have ever experienced and they have finished being rude they just put you through to the useless phone number. I'll be contacting the supplier of the goods and I'll express to them how hopeless DHL are. I think 1 star is certainly on the generous side.9628

Two out of three items I ordered were stolen by the delivery guy
I ordered 3 items from Asos. I missed the delivery man and at first I received an email saying that my packet would be in one of their automatic pickup machine the next day. However, the next day I receive a email with a different location in a shop. When I go to pick my packet at the shop I receive a packet that has been OPENED and two items were STOLEN. I'm still trying to contact them!!

Now I do understand why I had not received on two occasions my bike purchased at City-Bikes ... they alleged (lied) on 30 and 31 December 2021 that there was nobody in my place and I was painting our apartment and my wife working at home. I will never trust this DHL again ... it is not a single mistake... how come their HQ doesn´t take any actions against this person with a lack of professionalism. it was a lie, a huge and grotesque lie. Today is 14th December 2022 and I am still waiting for the same bike!! through DHL, AGAIN ?? OH NO ... OH NO ... OH NO NO NO NO!

Lock cut, bag searched, late delivery, bad communication
I am extremely disappointed by the service I received from DHL Parcel.
I sent two of my (locked) bags from Amsterdam to Utrecht and experienced many issues:
1. There was late delivery of my parcel with zero communication from DHL Parcel until the delivery time had long come and gone and I was provided with another later time. I waited the whole day (said to arrive latest 11am). They changed my delivery times twice before eventually delivering both my bags at 8pm without notice on the Track and Trace website or even an email on the third time.
2. When I finally received my bags, one of the locks was cut and the bag was rummaged through. Thank goodness nothing of value was in there and so nothing was missing. But I did not receive any notice or explanation for the search at all. The driver simply kept saying, "It wasn't me, it wasn't me".
3. When I informed DHL about what had happened they were extremely slow to reply. When I did receive a reply, it was apathetic and the sender did not listen to my complaint shown by the fact that they suggest I use Track and Trace in the future (which was not updated to inform me when I used it). It has now been about a month since this happened and I only just received an email saying that their investigation shows my lock was never on my bag and therefore DHL had nothing to do with the incident. I do not understand how they could have reached this conclusion. No apology, no responsibility taken, and certainly no concern was shown.
I will never be using DHL again and I suggest that anyone who values their privacy and goods does the same. A very disappointing experience from what I thought was a reputable company.

Awful experience of receiving DHL service when buying stuff on Amazon. My packages were not correctly delivered to my home but put at DHL center. It happened twice! Ironically, the webpage of parcel track reads that the customer requires the package to be held back at DHL and DHL would willingly deliver it again. Additionally, when I called the customer service of DHL, the assistant was so impatient. She said, "my English is not good. Please check the Google Map to find the DHL center".
I couldn't be more disappointed!!! 4 times in one week DHL failed to deliver my parcels!!!
I couldn't be more disappointed in their poor service. Their delivery guys are just pathetic! Two times in one week, the same order have been send back to the sender because 'delivery man' claims the address isn't correct! Which is obviously a lie! Thay just not capable of find an address in Amsterdam with 2 digits followed by one letter! Twice in the same week delivery men tried the same trick saying the address isn't correct!
Funny enough that all other delivery companies are able to find my address correctly, just DHL can't!
Besides this order, I've been waiting for two order parcels that haven't been delivered and no information was provided why. So in total, DHL failed 4 times in one week to deliver my orders!
I wish I could choose different forwarder while shopping online!! Unfortunately these details are not always available at the moment of placing orders.
OMG. They delivered to a "non-existent" neighbour house nr.
OMG, these stupid buffoons. First of all, I was home, waiting for my package. Second, they say they delivered to a "neighbour of mine". The catch? They wrote, they delivered to the neighbour in house "4". Well, I live in house 4A and there is no house "4". And no, there is no house 4B or C either. No more 4 in this street. SO WHERE THE HELL IS MY PACKAGE? (also not with my neighbours in nr 6 or 2)
